Heart of a woman

Heart of a woman is a woman led organization ,we are applying for the grant so that we can be able to meet our target population in order to enable the running of the organization and betterment of the helpless young south Sudanese women in India who have lost there support from sponsors who promised to help educate us since our parents cannot afford to help us in a foreign land.

By applying for the grant we can be able to come together as youthful south Sudanese women and speak up since two or more voices are louder than one so that we can let the government know the situation that we are facing in India especially in this pandemic crisis.

By applying for the grant we the heart of a woman come together and encourage ourselves to teach one another vocational skills for example making of reusable sanitary towels that we can be able to use on monthly basis and sell them as use.

By applying to the grant we can be able to meet our daily activities such as music dance and drama so that we can speak through music since it’s one of the fastest ways of transmitting messages and get help as well.

We heart of a woman started this organization earlier the year of 2020, we gathered together as the young women to discuss  all the problems that we were facing and how to reach other people in the world to be able to hear us out and help us .

So we later formed the name of the organization and had several meetings to discuss our objectives and goals ,we know that several women in different countries in the world are facing the same challenges,and that’s our aim to let them know that it’s okay to go through that and they shouldn’t give up .

Young girls drop out of schools and start practicing prostitution just because they were sent by their government to study abroad and then later the government fails to fulfill their terms of the education which make them find different ways for survival.

But as we heart of a woman ,we are trying to speak on behalf of those young girls that their are other several ways of survival like by coming together and teaching one another different skills to keep the day going which will later help them in the future .

And our vision is to “Strive for women betterment “.

As young women who are struggling to survive here in India ,we are facing tons of problems in our communities for example it’s hard for us to pay our rents monthly because they don’t have any savings or pocket money that we receive much from our parents .

And since the government stopping sponsoring us ,we have been on our own since then struggling our feet up and down ,but since the project started it has kept us alive and strong to keep our heads up and voices out there to reach to people who can come to our rescue .

And also creating a platform where we can speak to different people about how they should help and stay strong to each other is what is making the members of this organization happy.

We have also wanted to reach to other young women in different places to talk to them about the things they’re going through and what they’re doing to come through it .

Currently we heart of a woman is operating in Chandigarh,Mohali India .

With your help we can be able to reach to other states of India to help them by providing trainings ,basic needs and advices which can be a life changer .

Our work has been generally helpful to the people we reached out to .we have got support from our neighboring societies and Friends who keep advising us to never give up as the young women struggling for their rights and betterment.

We look forward to helping and reaching as many people as possible in the next future and devote our work to them.

We started by printing out our T-shirts’ to create awareness and support from people around the world , we also managed to create our website and platform pages on Instagram,Facebook,Twitter and LinkedIn with the same name “heart of a woman “

We are impacting humanity because whatever we are doing is for the betterment of the women .as women we have the largest population in the world which means that 80% of the women are being treated unfairly,discriminated,called out names , rejected ,hated and many more.

But the more women come together and work as one ,they will definitely achieve something that’s more powerful than ever .

We heart of a woman will keep trying to reach different women and young girls to make them be seen through speaking up and encouraging them .

Through that we shall create leadership trainings ,vocational skills trainings and have activities such as music dance and drama to support their talent and perform different forms of arts .
