Problems facing our communities:
No of target people affected by problems: 30000
It is a fact that most of the people in all states in India are affecting by the problems; Our Tamilnadu State is one of the worst affected state in India by 2nd wave of coronavirus . Every day 15000 people are infected by the virus and nearly 150 to 200 died by the virus. The information and data derived from newspapers, govt and private TV and govt everyday status report.
80% of remote rural and tribal unaware of the virus and preventive measures. Due to local culture and beliefs, roomers are the main reasons for the target people not using masks, hand washing and social distancing. No income for poor people are also another reasons to buy the masks and soaps.
Various rumors like getting a fever and body pain etc after vaccination. After vaccination, the person cannot go to work for someday and face some diseases. So, particularly many daily workers are not interested to get the vaccination. And also, the vaccination facilities available in their village. They have to go to hospitals in nearby towns. Due to financial difficulties during the corona situation, they are able to spend money for transport to the towns
Our action plan to address the problems
