ReBORN
My solution is a watch that I would say is an emergency rescue. It will integrate the following functions:
- 10 ATM - 100 meters for any fall in the water following an attack,
- GPS to identify the last place of the victim's presence,
- Heart sensors to check if the victim's heart rate has not reached +100 beats/minute or more,
- Handprint recognition is the flagship feature of this watch. The victim will simply have to put his hand on the screen to trigger the system (about 2 minutes) which will send a signal to a family member, then to the police and as a last resort, to the hospital.
Many communities in the United States (and even elsewhere) have been victims of racism. With this innovation, we want to protect the victims of such acts, no matter what the act. Each individual will be able to use this watch when approaching threatening individuals, during a traffic accident, in the workplace, at school, on vacation, disappearances, kidnappings in The United States.
ReBORN
is a waterproof watch with heart sensors, GPS, handprint recognition, all connected to the hospital, the police and one of the family members.
This watch is accessible to everyone. We have all at some point in our life been the victim of racism, harassment etc...
This solution will reduce violence during control, in the street, no matter where. But, above all, to give information to the family, the police and the hospital following the case.
- Create new public safety systems that ensure racial equity and provide alternatives to harmful technologies such as biased facial recognition.
The challenge was to propose a technology to fight against racism in the United States and this watch is first of all, a digital and emergency technology to help in case of racial aggressions.
- Concept: An idea being explored for its feasibility to build a product, service, or business model based on that idea.
Concept because the product is not yet created at the moment. But, by participating in this challenge we hope to put it in place quickly.
- A new application of an existing technology
My solution is innovative in that it will allow people who feel unsafe to report where they have been a victim of racism to a family member, the police, and the hospital, and this will allow for a mapping of racial crimes/aggressions in each state.
The principle is simple, you just have to put your hand on the watch and press for 2 mins for the system to be triggered.

I have sent you the design of the watch and you will see that this watch will not be limited to the United States. It will be usable in the world if we work well on the product.
In the UN Sustainable Development Goals, I would say that my solution reaches :
- 3 good health and well being,
- 10 reduced inequalities,
- 16 peace, justice and effective institutions.
Why do I do this?
In this watch, I set up an emergency response system linked to a family member, the police and the hospital.
- Not registered as any organization
I came up with the idea and partnered with someone to design it. So, I would say I'm working on this solution alone.
Chafika YENDIYIKA ALLEN:
holds a European bachelor's degree in bank insurance. Attracted by new technologies, she works as a freelance data entry operator.

I'm not picky. I would build my team based on technical skills, parity, I don't care about race. The most important thing is to implement the solution.
- Individual consumers or stakeholders (B2C)
The topic of anti-racism was of interest to me. By applying on Solve, I have the chance to present an idea to professionals that would allow me to improve my approach. Solve also has partners who could make this solution possible.
- Financial (e.g. improving accounting practices, pitching to investors)
- Legal or Regulatory Matters
- Public Relations (e.g. branding/marketing strategy, social and global media)
- Monitoring & Evaluation (e.g. collecting/using data, measuring impact)
- Technology (e.g. software or hardware, web development/design, data analysis, etc.)
I bring an idea to fight racism and I need these trades to implement this solution.
Currently, if you had to choose a particular organization, it would not be possible. However, the most important thing is that this organization has the technical means that the solution needs to materialize.
