Plastic Rivalry ( Mission Strays)

The problem of strays has been a major issue in Asia these days, keeping in mind I have come up with a perfect solution of making electronic vending machines that collects plastic and in return give food to help feed 2 strays at a time. that would help in feeding the strays nutritious food in nature-friendly clay pots, but it would also help in recycling the plastic waste and helping them get adopted.

Vending machines do not take extra space and so my solution can be spread to a large extent that would help to make a great impact on making the cities cleaner and greener, tackling plastic, adopting the strays, this would be a hands-on learning experience for all and the guiding language of the machine would be such that a child to an elderly person can use it easily.

Plastic has been a limelight issue for many years now, and this solution focuses on making people aware of its proper disposal and other waste management techniques. Whereas involving the issue of strays prevalent in Asia today, I think this would be an opportunity to provide strays a new life in the hope that they get adopted and can acquire nutritious food because millions of strays die every year due to hunger.

It would give people a hands-on experience on recycling waste and would be able to see its results too. Not only this, people with a concrete mindset about the strays and their importance are now given a chance to see different types of animal behavior, their advantages, and how a stray can become a fun-loving home pet just like any other pet of a specific breed.

We all have used vending machines in our life, so my solution is just an improvised version of ending machines which would serve two purposes:

1. It would provide the strays with proper nutritious food and water in earthen clay pots that are eco-friendly.

2. This would allow people to recycle plastic waste that they use in their daily lives.

Suppose we have a plastic bottle, then we'd put that plastic bottle in the vending machine, and in return, from the other side, a filled clay with food that is sufficient for feeding two strays would come out automatically. We just need to fill in the type of food like for example, if cats are more prevalent in your area then you would click on that particular button so the prescribed food comes out.

When you put a single plastic waste into the machine for the first time you have to sign up through an app so that whenever you put waste into the machine your points are added up. This would encourage you to add more and more. In the end, if you reach the goal required you may get a gift voucher too.

My solution is proposed for people living in urban towns and cities. The idea of waste management is more prevalent over there along with the issue of strays.

The strays would be able to live a better life, people with a concrete mindset would have the exposure to explore and open up.

Plastic that is becoming a threat to the environment these days would have been reduced to half of the solution spreads accurately and to the targeted areas that are Asia etc.

Being an animal and a nature activist I know the struggles of how we tackle people with a cu=onservative mind about species around them and so in regard to this I have proposed this solution.

Restoring the ecosystem involves various challenges that are set apart from each other. Plastic, which has been a worldwide issue specifically in parts of Asia like India has a lot to do with it. I think my solution would be able to provide people awareness along with benefitting the stray community that is left behind these days mostly. 

Vending machines though a small thing but if mechanized then we can prevail its benefits to the maximum, and with my solution, it is certainly possible.

Being a teen, I am exploring at the fullest, new ideas to advance the world and make it a better place. I am an animal lover along with a climate activist and so with this, I have come up with such type of solution. So to put forward my plan, I need support to inculcate the solution required to serve the problem I proposed here. 

Keeping all the factors in mind, I chose the concept phase for my solution.

I think people would be more open to an electronic environment and my solution's easy-to-use feature would help everyone understand it easily and efficiently. Strays would be given a new hope for life and the issue of plastic that has been around for years would be seen to resolve finally. 

People would learn about waste management, different animal behaviors, they would be given a platform to get a hands-on experience about a completely new project.

I am an individual currently feeding 8-10 stray dogs on daily basis. Along with 4-5 cows per week and refill community bowls with water for birds. 

I use to weigh the number of food packets that are used on monthly basis and how I particularly donate them.
