The problem relating to high demand for food, timber,energy and locomotives are some that Green Tech is committed to tackle to solve the worlds ecosystem. Use of genetically modified trees for faster growth and high quality timber and paper production will save many ecosystems if adopted well and positively. It will involve use of the best tree varieties with the best traits to give required productivity within shortest time possible. Adoption of modern agricultural practices such as hydroponics, greenhouses and silos to produce and store enough food for both humans and livestock using biotech varieties and modern storage systems. These will save on use of large tracts of land however, satisfying the food demand for all. Storage systems such Silos/silage making and using fermentation enzymes to generate livestock feed that can be used for long period of time. Encouraging use of solar, windmill, geothermal and biodiesel sources of energy.
Production of productive plants and tree varieties for food, timber production. These is by using selection of hybrid traits that mature faster and give high quality and high quantity production results. Use of available land for farming in Kenya can feed entire Africa alone if used properly without destruction of forests for agricultural practices. Green tech will use gene guns, polymerase chain reaction machines for gene amplifications, plasmids, bacteriophages for gene expressions, gene markers for genetically modified breed selection, legal and consumer engagement platforms .Green tech research institute that will engage several scientists at Green Tech to save our ecosystem through research and educating communities, governments on way to use best plant and tree varieties to satisfy our demand for food and timber. The laboratory will include young scientists in ensuring our objective runs smoothly if Green tech wins. We will also engage on the best storage mechanisms for food using smart preservation techniques involving use of enzymes for fermentation.
My solution is on saving land overuse, forest ecosystem destruction and satisfying the demand for the limited resources(food,timber,livestock feed and grazing areas) that leads to this conflict. It is a laboratory and institute for making the best hybrids for healthy, highly productive seeds,seedlings for plant and tree varieties involved in food and timber production. It will be involved in production, educating and advising communities on use of best varieties of trees for timber and plant varieties for food and cash. It works by using science and biotechnological tools to select and develop best varieties.Green tech will use gene guns, polymerase chain reaction techniques for
gene amplifications, plasmids, bacteriophages for gene expressions and gene markers for selection, legal and consumer engagement platform.We will also engage on the best storage mechanisms for food storage using smart biotechnology enzymes for fermenting silage and energy sources such as methanol. Green tech will use biotech to develop bio bees for plant pollination and honey production.
My solutions serves humanity as it offers satisfying their unlimited demand for food, timber and land using the available maximally using biotechnology to serve the same demands overwhelmingly thus saving, protecting and building new ecosystems. Builders, agriculturalists and farmers will earn huge benefit from Green Tech as it will inform and offer them with productive biotech methods that will improve their lives without interfering with forests for timber and agricultural use.
Green Tech is accessing farmers need through seminars and webinars and offering them our solutions so that they buy our ideas and utilize them for the sake of our future generations.
Currently builders are heavily depending on forests for timber and farmers searching more arable land for agricultural use instead of employing greenhouses and improved plant technology .
Green tech will aid in developing fast maturing tree varieties for timber and food as well as more productive varieties.It will also engage on best storage practices to reduce wastage.

Building and developing a resilient ecosystem will highly be influenced by satisfying human needs amicably that lead to destruction of these ecosystems. Some of these needs/demands include timber, food and energy. Using the available space or land for agriculture and settling in conjunction with biotechnology and science to multiply productivity of these demands will be easily and comfortably be met without further interfering with the ecosystems.

Mine is an idea that developed since I was doing my undergraduate. I had it written on paper and printed and I believed that one day i will venture into it when the right time comes. Currently am working on savings and once i get enough resources i will buy gene guns, electroplate, PCR devices to start my laboratory here in Thika. Thanks to this type of challenges that allow one to express their mind and gives hope on one day dreams come true.

Currectly we are doing selection of best variaties and planting them using drip irrigation in Thika.It serves 5 individuals. We hope in one year time the number will grow to a hundred and agressively in 5 years to become a project for adoption at a global scale.
Output measure in comparing with normal farming methods have shown admirable results. The quality of fruits is great and use of silage for livestock ensure improved animal productivity.

The team includes passionate youths about developing sustainable ecosystems. Focussed on achieving a successful goal. Utilizing their energy and skills to develop resilient ecosystems.
