Main problem for continous and long lasting work of WWTP-WasteWaterTreatmentPlant is energy consumption financing, esspecially having in mind such facility is zero-profit .
I am proposing solution that should enable WWTP facility to be energy self sustainable
Energy self sustainable solution for WWTP could enable easier access to better environment protection for global human community as such infrastructure facilities investment cost is significant but even bigger financial problem is cost of energy consumption.
Efficient and Energy self sustainable main problem is solving technological biological equlibrium of anaerobic and aerobic processes that should produce enough fuel for energy needs of whole facility.
Energy self sustainable WWTP could save a lot of energy and financial assets to communities.
Such efficient infrastructure facilities could affect all of the settlements and people within on whole world,
Currently esspecially South East Europe including Balkan countries are looking forward to be able to develop properly environment protection and establishing pilot project of Efficient and Energy self sustainable WWTP.
Before 30-40 years in Serbia functioned around 50 WWTP facilities that mostly stopped working due to problem of financing energy consumption cost.
Efficient and Energy self sustainable WWTP could be done with proper planning of technological processes of aerobic and anaerobic biodegredation of active sludge from wastewaters. Experimentation on pilot WWTP could help in establishing proper equilibrium and necessary timelines and technological data for proper and efficient process that should serve as basis for Energy self sustainable WWTP .
In addition due to need of self sustainability of local markets, establishing Green bonds standards is also very important for Green bonds market functioning. Energy self sustainable WWTP should be focal point for establishing proper standards and Green bonds market is essential for efficient way of financing Green infrastructure projects.
Target population is within all settlements without sewerage systems and WWTP facilities. Also target population is within settlements with existing sewerage and WWTP infrastructure but that is highly energy inefficient.
Those people could benefit in environment protection due to better sanitary conditions of their living space and better sanitary conditions of public spaces and rivers.
Wide public campaign could help in education of people to understand their environment protection needs. All proposals and ideas from citizens that are in direction of developing Energy self sustainable WWTP will be welcomed and incorporated within final solution proposal.
Finding solution basis will also need to incorporate local conditions so to be able to work efficiently and energy self sustainably.
