It is better to see solid geometry once than to hear about it a thousand times.
The role of a teacher is hard to overestimate. How crucial can this role be during the educational process? Sometimes we absolutely forget the subject itself, although we clearly remember teacher’s behavior, his or her words and attitude towards us and our classmates. Students could be absolutely lucky if teacher adores the subject he/she is teaching, but what if the attitude is opposite? What if teachers understand the material on a poor level? The first problem we are committed to solving is the role of the teacher in the educational process. While the second issue is lack of visual instruments which could help students understand more.
According to the Edgar Dale's cone of experience, we perceive around 90% of information while we are simulating a real experience. By developing an augmented and virtual reality app VisualMe, we are providing students with a tool for a better geometry understanding. As a Plato, we ask student many different questions and he or she should answer those questions him/herself on their own. No one to blame for a bad explanation, no one to blame for a disruption. It is only you and the endless world of theorems and axioms which you should prove yourself. As a result, we want teachers to become moderators of the educational process, instead of being the only source of information. We want students to create their own path of learning, instead of the general level of explanation in the classroom.
We believe that by enabling students to see solid geometry figures and having a personal dialog in explaining complex issues in a simple way, we will not only help students to learn geometry but will also grow a conscious generation. Virtual reality gives an opportunity to be your own while learning. This is a huge responsibility and opportunity. The future of education is in the personalized visual content. We are making several steps towards it. On the one hand, we are creating a tool for visualizing educational content. On the other hand, by creating several levels in the app, we help to personalize the complexity of the material.

Even though virtual and augmented reality technologies are still new in the educational process, we consider that the most innovative part of our solution is a dialog format of the application. By answering questions students move forward from the simplest to the hardest level of the topic. Just as it is in the world. We gain experience by answering questions on our own to ourselves.
Combination of solid geometry theory in virtual reality, problems solving on the paper and interaction with the right answer in augmented reality makes our solution innovative.
For the solution, students need a mobile phone, application, paper and pencil or pen. There is two modes: augmented and virtual reality. For the virtual reality mode, students need cardboards so that they can learn, see and interact with theory. Then they should solve a problem according to the theory on paper and if the answer is right an augmented reality mode will show a 3D object above the answer. Without technology, there is no app and solution.
For the next 12 months, our goals are to develop the whole school course of geometry into the virtual and augmented reality and build an international platform for teachers and students to interact.

In 5 years VisualMe will be a company that has visualized math, history, biology, chemistry and physics. We will operate in 5 languages: English, French, Chinese, Arabic, and Russian.
By visualizing educational content, we will help pupils in different countries understand subjects, learn complex issues in a simple way and will eventually help to choose their personal way of further education and professional development. By the end of the day, I believe that the highest goal of all educational projects is personal development of students and their happiness.

Each market needs its own strategy, although solution will be deployed in PlayMarket and AppStore. The penetration of smartphones is quite high in the developed countries as well as in the developing countries. We believe in partnerships with the educational associations, non-governmental organizations, such as Teach For UK/Ukraine, Emerge Education, etc. As well as media campaigns, youtube bloggers will be the main focus for addressing students, while schools and communities should be targeted in personal. Conferences and personal explanation of the value for teachers should be the main priority for us to access the communities of teachers.
Currently, as a pilot, we work with two schools in Ukraine and test geometry application. We got a feedback from students and teachers, that the number of right answers in the solid geometry tests is growing since students remember what they have seen and can operate gained knowledge in the app.
In 12 months we expect to serve +100,000 in three countries.
Currently, we are developing an App for geometry, although in 3 years we plan to develop Apps for the biggest part of the educational programme.
In the next month, we plan to have two pilot schools in the Netherlands and France. We are starting to cooperate with teachers and want to prepare them during the summer.
In Autumn we plan to scale up to 20 schools, while in winter up to 100 schools. In a year, we plan to operate in +2000 schools.
