QuantumFusion

Fossil fuels negatively impact every living thing on this planet and they cannot be encouraged any longer. From burning down our rainforests to flooding, this inefficient method of energy is not something any living thing should have to suffer through. 

My goal is to replace fossil fuels with fusion energy reactors operated by a quantum computer. Fusion energy is the cleanest, most accessible, and most efficient form of energy we know. With the aid of quantum computers, fusion energy reactors can produce incredible amounts of energy while staying safe. A quantum computer is capable of helping fusion reactors in the fields of containment issues, predictive modeling, energy efficiency, and cryptographical safety, without quantum-safe security no data is truly safe.

The effects of burning fossil fuels are global, but if we were to replace them with fusion energy these negative effects could be permanently removed. 

Our ecosystems are being destroyed by fossil fuels and the harmful gasses they release when burned. Every time fossil fuels are burned an ecosystem is damaged just a little bit. If this damage continues our ecosystems will disappear forever causing the extinction of numerous animals and plants. This problem affects communities worldwide. Currently, every single living thing on this planet is affected by the burning of fossil fuels. 85% of all energy being used is from fossil fuels. Each year over 5.5 billion tons of carbon is released into our atmosphere from burning fossil fuels. 

Humanity spends 2.9 trillion dollars every year extracting fossil fuels; this is around 3.3% of the world's GDP. In the US alone, approximately 230,00 deaths and $600 billion economically are lost yearly from the air pollution created by the burning of fossil fuels. Not only do fossil fuels themselves ruin our atmosphere and ecosystems, but also their extraction process. Extracting this harmful source of energy generates air and water pollution that will harm local communities. My solution serves to end this problem in places like Seoul, South Korea, Guangzhou, China, and New York City, United States. 

QuantumFusion will bring safe and clean energy to the world. 

QuantumFusion aims to bring the worlds of quantum computers and fusion reactors together to better our planet. 
 
Fusion energy will negate all of the effects of fossil fuels and will help towards reversing them. As soon as 2030 a fusion reactor that can produce more energy than it consumes will be viable. 

A fusion reactor is a powerful thing and without the proper control, there could be consequences. A quantum computer will command a fusion reactor through its ability to aid in the areas of cryptographical safety, energy efficiency, containment issues, and predictive modeling. 

In the early stages of quantum integration with fusion reactors, when we do not have an abundance of quantum computers, cloud-based information transfer will allow a single quantum computer to control multiple fusion reactors. 

QuantumFusion serves Earth. My solution will enhance the lives of living things from every part of the world. Our ecosystems are my biggest target audience. Many people do not look at the effects of what humans do to our ecosystems. Burning fossil fuels of course being the most prominent. Fossil fuels lead to wildfires, droughts, and floods that damage our ecosystems and destroy biodiversity. QuantumFusion would be able to replace our need of burning fossil fuels which in turn drastically slows down the effects of fossil fuels on our ecosystems. 

A big example of who QuantumFusion would serve is the Philippines. The Philippines is booming with diverse ecosystems. This country is ranked fifth in plant biodiversity, fourth in bird endemism, and almost half of its terrestrial wildlife is endemic to the country. Sadly, as diverse as these ecosystems are, they are threatened by a great loss, extinction. Around a thousand plant and animal species that reside in the Philippines are near extinction. This threat to ecosystem biodiversity is caused by the effects of burning fossil fuels. 

The Philippines depends heavily on mining and burning fossil fuels for energy. In the Philippines mining fossil fuels alone leads to the pollution of surrounding water, lands, and air, and damage to surrounding natural ecosystems. Once mined fossil fuels must be burnt to create usable energy. The effects of burning fossil fuels in the Philippines give rise to problems such as an increase in ocean temperature, which causes large changes in the lives of aquatic species,  changes in animal migration, and an ability to reproduce. 

All of these damages will be stopped and even reversed with QuantumFusion. With the ability to replace the dangerous fossil fuel industry in the Philippines with a green source of energy, QuantumFusion will use the power of a fusion reactor to create a surplus of energy and the power of a quantum reactor to calculate the most precise way to use this energy. QuantumFusion will be the future of the Philippines and many more countries like them. 

Burning fossil fuels damage our ecosystems and are an unreliable and dangerous source of energy. This path will lead to the loss of these precious ecosystems. We can be saved from this dangerous path with the power of QuantumFusion. QuantumFusion takes the power of a quantum computer and the efficiency of fusion reactors to create an incredible energy-producing machine that will spew unheard of amounts of power. With this QuantumFusion will replace fossil fuel energy and its negative effects on our ecosystems with clean energy that will slowly end the ongoing damage to our ecosystems.

QuantumFusion has two distinct parts, a quantum computer, and a fusion reactor. In QuntuamFusion, these two will work in unison for the safest operation of a fusion reactor and the most efficient energy production ever seen. Quantum computers and fusion reactors are prototypes at the moment. Both are predicted to be commercially available as soon as 2030. The union of quantum computers and fusion reactors is a brand new concept. With Quantum computers and fusion reactors being unavailable to the public pursuing this concept is difficult but I am certain that as quantum computers and fusion reactors develop so will QuantumFusion. Once useable I plan to place the outcome of QuantumFusion in cities that need it the most such as New York City, Seoul, the Philippines.

This solution takes the power of two of the most game-changing technologies today and merges them for the most efficient and cleanest power output known. This solution is the future of the Earth. Without it our planet's death is inevitable 

At the moment no one is aided by my solution. The numbers are very hard to obtain since the solution is still a concept but I can safely say that when this solution is made commercial it will server ever living thing on this planet.
