Our product which is a single use hand soap is natural, green, eco-friendly and free from bad chemicals which is made up from agro-wastes (citrus peels) which contributes in waste management and promotes circular economy leading to significant environmental impact. Due to covid19 pandemic, people are forced to use different hygienic products where most of them use bad chemicals which could cause various health problems especially skin problems when used for several times (redness, irritation, itching) where our product is deemed to be 100% natural and free from bad chemicals. As for scaling globally, the environmental and social impact going to be much greater since more agro-wastes are going to be upcycled in addition to more people using products which are natural and free from bad chemicals.

Dumping agro-wastes is one of the big problems our world is suffering from causing major environmental and health problems affecting millions globally where leading countries are trying to find solutions it. And due to the health situation (covid19) affecting the whole world, many hygienic products being used by most of people are alcohol based or contain bad chemicals which can cause health problems when used daily and for long terms.

Through our unique process we were able to provide a cleaning, hygienic, and eco-friendly single use hand soap by utilization of beneficial agricultural material (citrus peels) through upcycling process which promotes circular economy. Our single use hand soap gets activated once it touches water and dissolves creating foamy mixture. Our product is made up from citrus peels and some organic and natural ingredients and food additives.

Most of agro-wastes being produced and dumped are in the underserved countries (Africa and south america countries), in addition to the lowest life quality in terms of cleanliness and hygienity. As for our product, we can provide a way for making use of agro-wastes by upcycling them and providing a cleaning and hygienic product promoting their circular economy and providing sustainability and a better life quality.

Millions of tons of agro-wastes are being dumped each year causing environmental problems instead of making use of these wastes. In addition to the health pandemic we are facing, people are forced to use different hygienic and cleaning products were must of them contain bad chemicals which can affect our health. So our single use hand soap which is made from citrus peels can replace any type of soap (solid bar soap, liquid or gel soap) and can be used by anyone while providing a better cleaning and hygienic solution.

We have already an MVP being produced and sent to potential customers / investors (hotel chains, angel investors, professionals) to test our product and give us any feedbacks for optimizing and developing our final product. We have already received some feedbacks which were positive and very promising .

Changing agricultural wastes into cleaning and hygienic products makes our products unique and innovative. This step might encourage people to take different approach regarding agricultural wastes and find different ways to make use of them in different manufactural areas which could change the market face and increase positive impacts done by such initiatives.

As for a team of 2 engineers (civil and environmental, petroleum and chemical engineer) we are able to take care of the business development side in addition to the production optimization and development side where our technical expertise provides us with the information and data we need to manage and develop our startup.

As for solve, it would be great to join such program which gives you access to mentorship from such great coaches, expanding our professional network, in addition to the possibility of getting funded buy professionals which would indeed help us reach our goals and provide worldwide sustainability.

Any organizations or companies that would help us improve and expand (in our niche) or to try even to license this product and procedure for potentially interested companies which could help in mass prodcution.

As for our product, it can be distributed for refugees for free as a hygienic and cleaning product used on the go. in addition refugees can be included in the process of gathering agricultural wastes, and in the production process.
