Blue Filter
Problem :
- Desertification of lands because of increasing salinity and scarcity of water in aquifers
- Low productivity of plants
- High water cost for farmers
- High percent of nitrate in water wells, fruits, and vegetables because of misuse of fertilizer
- High cost of feedstock
- High cost of fertilizers
- lack knowledge of farmers about nitrate, salinity, and other problems data analysis
Solutions:
- Increasing green land by decreasing salinity to an acceptable level
- Increasing productivity of plants
- provide cheap treated water for farmers
- Decrease the concentration of nitrate to an acceptable level
- Green feedstock
- Green fertilizer within water and without water
- Awareness farmers about all news in the agriculture world via website, training, workshops, and field visiting
-Connect farmers with assistant cheap devices to follow their utilities (employe technology in farming.
This solution will protect the environment from wastes.

Blue Filter working within these parameters :
- Safe and clean water
- Green by product’s for animals and plants
- Echo friendly
- Free from chemicals
- No energy
- Low cost
- Accessible and easy of installments
- The project can be recycled without and deficient in its efficiency
- No loses in water treatment quantity after treatment
- No side effects on both Farmers and the environment.
the project’s direct and measurable impact?
- Water security for farmers and their families in terms of access to pure water from contaminates by reaching to more than 95% removal efficiency of harmful contaminates (reduced contamination)
- A regular income for farmers (different products will produce during blue filter process).
- Good health (No chemicals, No Microbes ) the examinations that done with blue filter after water treatment prove the quality of water which meet standard criteria
- Low poverty ( Blue filter very important for poorest area because its access for all and simple to use it without any problems )
- Green products like fodder and fertilizers, Blue filter components during water treatment will produce fodder and fertilizers, these by-products used again for farmers and healthy
- Save money and electricity within the Recycling process, Blue filter component’s we can recycle it more than 15 times without any deficiency in their quality
- Availability of raw materials at any time ( All raw material of blue filter are available in Gaza strip )
- Health security in terms of No microbes after treatment (we using green Nanosilver “ newly in water disinfectant process” )
- A good job opportunity sources for new farmers group, because Blue filter will provide work in each execution stage ( Each farm need Blue filter systems, and this depend on the size of farm and water basins for treatment process so these installments need labor to work in good ways
- Blue filters meet SDG goals 6 for water in its strategy as the followings:
- Ensure availability of water and sanitation to all by treating water in green, environmentally friendly ways and (No chemicals or electricity )
- Use it in drinking and agriculture.
- Aggregate local projects to enable access to financial capital for ecosystem services such as natural hazard mitigation, water quality, and carbon storage.
The project will contribute significantly to providing environmentally friendly and economically saving ways to treat water pollution in particular from nitrates, which cause cancerous diseases through its transmission through polluted water, the project will achieve secondary products during the treatment process such as environmentally friendly feed and fertilizers, the project will achieve The goals of sustainable development by providing water suitable for irrigation, drinking, by-products, awareness, and education for all in the field of water and the causes of pollution, all of these things will achieve environmental sustainability
- Pilot: An organization deploying a tested product, service, or business model in at least one community.
This stage was chosen because we are currently validating results with a number of farmers
Through experimentation, and evaluation of work in each area, also the results of treatment, and the quantities of water that are being treated, because we are in the stage of production and development on the project continuously.
- A new technology
Features of the project for beneficiaries :
- Filters with different sizes modules (systems)
- Raw materials of (filter media ) available for any company, institutions and research centers for any new use of treatment
- Feedstocks, fertilizers, and water for irrigation
Experiences of the project for beneficiaries:
- Water and food security
- Livelihood security
- Sustainable income
- Job opportunity for their families
Benefits of the project :
- Water purity and quality from contaminates Nitrates more than 95% removal efficiency .
- Save money (its components of the project are available and very cheap in the Gaza strip)
- Save energy (the project doesn’t need any source of energy to work in the water treatment process )
- Good health (No chemicals, No Microbes )
- Low poverty ( the project very important for the poorest area because its access for all and simple to use it without any problems )
- Green products like fodder and fertilizers, the project components during water treatment will produce fodder and fertilizers, these by-products used again for farmers
- Recycling process, the project component’s we can recycle it more than 15 times without any deficiency in its quality
- Availability of raw materials at any time ( All raw material of the project are available in Gaza strip )
- water after and before treatment process the same no lose in quantity

The project firstly works as the followings:
- Starting of the project with targeted farmers 500 at the beginning of financial support as a pilot for the next stage of project goals.
- Determine the type of water treatment required for each farmer upon project examinations
- Determine the number of filters required for Workplace
- Produce and distribute all equipment’s in terms of the required number of filters for farmers during the treatment process
- Training farmers on the use and how to treat the water using project outputs
- Fodder and fertilizer production resulting from the treatment process of water
- Evaluation of work and feedback in order to improve farmers' psychological well-being, their knowledge, and working efficiency during and after work, activation strategy
- Final report for the first stage and Evaluation
- Moving to the next stage by expanding investment through new financing and new networking sources in order for the project to include the remaining targeted farmers
In one year we will serve more than 500 Farmers
Our plan in years to serve more than 120,000 Farmers all over the world
- Increasing green land by decreasing water pollution to an acceptable level
- Increasing productivity of plants
- provide cheap treated water for farmers
- Decrease the concentration of nitrate and other contaminants to an acceptable level
- Providing green feedstock for farmers
- Providing green fertilizer within water for plants
- Increasing the productivity of animals by green feedstocks to achieve food security
- Awareness farmers and customer’s about all news in Water and agriculture world via website, training workshops, and field visiting

The project will produce a large number of filter products for purification and treatment (growth strategy plan through project revenues and fundraising) by purchasing new raw materials for the processing and production of filters. In addition, many meetings and workshops will be held with the beneficiary farmers who will implement the project on their farms by studying the required need for daily water and placing the selected farmers in the next step after the end of the funding period, and the project will determine the number and quality of filters for each farmer and set the implementation and follow-up plan for continuity. In providing services and ensuring the continuity of the project with each farmer through achieving the principle of sustainability
By-products will also be collected and used, such as fodder and green fertilizers resulting from the water treatment process
There will be follow-up through field visits, and taking feedback from farmers by the project team to find out more about their opinions about the pros and cons (if any) to see what has been achieved with them before and after the work period, if there is any development of the project products necessary to add them, And how to work with the following farmers after the end of the first phase of project implementation.
