As a result, we require an automated, fast, affordable, secure, and easy-to-use platform that connects people without regard for language or culture to create exciting classroom communities while also facilitating data-driven decision-making by allowing everyone – teachers, parents, and mentors – to easily share and use data to support students. And IntelliED provides you all of this!

At IntelliED, we partner with K-12 institutions to automate their routine tasks, provide them quick access to data and simplify their work. With our services, we aim to - reduce student absenteeism, improve student behavior, increase classroom success & retention rate, help students feel motivated to learn, and their grades improve. 

Covid-19 acted as a catalyst and has accelerated growth across many industries in India, education being one of them for sure. Although many schools have adopted online learning, but that alone is not sufficient. The majority of K-12 schools in India still use paper instead of digital technologies. Educators still spend the majority of their time preparing reports and performing routine administrative activities. According to studies, up to 40% of educators have complained about feeling overburdened and stressed due to their administrative tasks.

 Moreover, it's difficult for teachers to devise personalized learning strategies and effective intervention plans for students struggling in classrooms without accurate anecdotes and insights. According to studies, students up to 4% in metropolitan areas and up to 29% in rural regions drop out of school before completing their education. And the majority of the time, the teacher is unaware of the cause for their absence. 

 Lastly, Covid-19 threatens to derail the education of at least 24 million students worldwide. So, staying connected and retaining students in schools is now a bigger challenge than before. Thus, we need an automated/user-friendly platform that connects students, teachers, and parents to create engaging classroom communities while also facilitating data-driven decision-making.

Students, teachers, and administrators leave an endless trail of data throughout their time at institution. The use of large datasets to guide decisions is important for the world of education to take advantage of the technological trends driving economic and social change. 

IntelliED connects teachers, students, and parents to create exciting classroom communities that enhance learning and resource sharing to support students. IntelliED allows teachers to acquire a holistic view of students' participation across numerous activities using feedback from sources, including the classroom, common and benchmark examinations, third-party assessments, attendance, behavior, conduct, and so on.

 Apart from this, keep track of students' mental health with our assessments based on clinical standards, and ensure that school environments are safe, supportive, and equitable with our in-built Social-Emotional-Learning surveys. IntelliED strives to help students from all walks of life, including students whose academics have been disrupted by Covid-19, students who are lagging academically, and students who are having a mental health issue but are unable to articulate it for a variety of reasons. 

Apart from gathering student data from multiple sources, we conduct surveys

with students to understand more about how they feel in the classroom, their
perception about their learning environment, where they believe they are
lacking, and any specific areas in which they require assistance. Results from
these Social-Emotional Learning surveys, when combined with analytics &
AI-based insights gathered from exam scores, assignment scores, extracurricular involvement, and other sources, assist teachers in developing personalized learning strategies and effective intervention techniques.

Our automated, fast, and easy system will undoubtedly relieve teachers of the time-consuming task of manually entering data and analyzing reports. As a result, educators will get more time which can invest in other beneficial
activities. Furthermore, our monthly progress reports and daily relevant
notifications will keep parents informed about their child's progress and other
vital information. Our platform intends to build a virtual ecosystem in which instructors, mentors, advisors, and parents can collaborate to develop programs that are tailored to their students' needs

Most of the organizations are already travelling towards a future where strategies and decisions are data-driven by default. Fortunately, Data Analytics creates new opportunities to improve the education process too by helping teachers and learners make smarter decisions earlier in the learning progression. There's no reason to expect a recession, and staying ahead of the industry's volatility necessitates data-driven judgments. 

We at IntelliED, strive to make classrooms and learning environments safer, more efficient, transparent, and equitable with IntelliED. Our automated data-driven approach for student insights, light-weight multilingual communication platform, and easy-to-use live dashboards will help achieve the mentioned goals.

We chose the Pilot stage because currently we're testing our solution at eight different institutions across four Indian districts, collectively serving up to 15000 students and teachers. Our current business model is a B2B approach, in which our product is sold directly to K-12 institutes/schools with either monthly or yearly paying periods.

The majority of the solutions accessible in our community either lack essential features or are difficult to use for those without technical experience.

Whereas, we offer easy-to-use, fully automated solution wherein teachers simply enter marks, other required information, and reports are generated immediately, which can then be shared with students, parents, and advisers with a single click. Educators may engage with students and parents through our communication section, sharing insights and progress reports without having to worry about language barriers as our conversion API can translate messages into regional languages. This allows you to form better student-teacher and parent-teacher relationships that positively impact a child’s education. 

 Our light weight web login adapts to poor internet conditions by displaying a reduced version of the dashboard, allowing it to be utilized in regions where the internet is unavailable or slow.

We've only been in this business for seven months and till now have served 15,000 users without any marketing budget or sales strategy across 4 different districts from the states of New Delhi and Uttarakhand. By the end of 2021, we are aiming to serve around 150,000 users. Our long-term goal is to reach 1 million students and teachers from our community by 2024 while simultaneously preparing for global expansion.

Note: For users, we partner with K-12 institutions and serve students, teachers, and parents of students studying in our partner institutes. However, parents are not considered as active users and are not included in the numbers mentioned above. Currently, we are running our pilot program with 6 institutes from 4 different districts

Our core measures for measuring our effectiveness include the percentage improvement in students' academic performance, student retention rates, parental involvement, and the percentage decrease in student absenteeism, student dropout rates, and time spent by instructors on non-essential work. 

 Additionally, we track our monthly recurring revenue and conversion rate as a business indicator to determine our success. The number of institutions that actually place a contract is divided by the total number of institutions that express interest in an offer to get the conversion rate.

As of now, we are a team of 12 people. Out of 12, 8  people are working fulltime and rest 4 are part-time interns.

We have people in our team who have worked in the field of Data Analytics and has helped companies improve their processes and products via data driven insights and strategies.

We also have people that have worked with All India Council of Technical Education and were part of a project where they were created a unified data source for multiple Schools and Institutions.

Most importantly, we've worked together previously as well, so we tend to know each other well and are aware of each other's strengths and weaknesses.

On our leadership team, we have people from different religions and having varied technical and personal experience.
