The project seek to address the loophole in the education system in Nigeria especially transforming the teaching and learning activities in-line with the 21st century classroom. It improve on the current mono mode of classroom instructions in the schools to multi mode of presentation where other senses of the students can be involved in learning through the use of audios,videos,images, text etc embedded in lesson delivery to students using the application. Assignment and examination can also be conducted on the platform in real-time while grading is also done easily and scores kept in the system.Report cards can also be generated with comprehensive reporting tools for school administrators. The solution is particularly useful for schools in the urban and rural areas. It can also be modified to the exact education system of a country.

Education in Nigeria is still done in the 20th century ways. Teachers can hardly use digital tools to facilitate teaching/learning activities. Students report cards are still done on papers and cards while assessments are done manually.In fact the only mode of teaching is through chalk board or marker board. Teachers had to write a lot of notes on the board for students which is always stressful for both students and teacher. Teachers set objectives questions in examination and would have to mark for hundreds of students. Parents could not monitor the activities of students except at the end of the term through the report cards given to students or when they visit the school. Parents can not make payments unless they get to the school premises or walk to the bank to effect the payment. Receipts can only be given upon sighting evidence of payment by parents which is quite burdensome for parents. Schools cannot monitor the list of debtors except records are kept in sheets of paper or booklets which could be lost or destroy and many schools had lost thousands of naira. There is no medium of effective communication between the various stakeholders in the school.

3The solution is all about overhauling the entire school administration with technology. It allows teachers to deliver lessons to students embedding all forms of multimedia(video, audio,word,excel,power-point, PDF, latex). The lesson supervisor can approve or disapprove the lesson prepared by the teacher.Approved lesson can then be viewed by the students at the specified time. Students can give assignments online and grade assignments real-time.Students can download lessons and attempt assignment on the application and the grades stored in the database. Teachers can set and grade quizzes. parents can make payment online and receipts are auto generated and a comprehensive report is available to the school and the parents. Teachers can input the test and exam results of students while the system does the calculations and generate report cards which are available in the portal of each student. The system keeps the report cards for as long as possible.The solution can run offline to conserve data and it is highly responsive. in addition a mobile application is also available for schools each school with its customized mobile application. The solution also handles the admission process such that the forms and payment can be done at comfort of homes.

The solution is to be used by all stakeholders in the school i.e the school administrator, teachers, students and parents. For the administrators it allows for proper monitoring of activities in the school. With the efficient reporting tools school administrators/proprietors can view at a glance the finance state of the school and they can even view the student ledger and payment history. They can also monitor the activities of the teachers checking the quality of materials being given to the students and make necessary corrections when appropriate.They can also control activities of teachers by setting deadline in-line with the calendar of the school. With the application an effective communication system could be achieved. Each teacher can be sent messages via the notification module or they can engage in synchronous chatting via the chat module. The messages can be via text, email or on the application messages which can also save a lot of cost to the school.The application solve the current challenges of improper financial records of schools and the cumbersome monitoring system currently in place in most schools. with this system it is possible for school administrators/proprietors to monitor what goes on in the school without physically present in the school.

Teachers spent a larger part of the class time writing notes on the chalkboard for students and spend less time explaining for the students. They also currently use only one mode of teaching technique which is inadequate for the 21st century students that are digital native. The application help teachers prepare very good lessons in cooperating all other media of learning (audio, video, images etc) and allow students to have digital notes which can be downloaded before the actual class and thus make time for proper explanation and other interactive learning within available time. Teachers can give assignments to students and can grade such assignments anywhere they are.Solutions to assignments can also be sent to students online. This reduces the stress of moving papers around which could be lost or destroyed in the process. With this solution result computation is automated unlike the usual practice of teachers using calculators to sum results of students in about ten to fifteen subjects thereby making a lot of mistakes. Teachers only need to input test and examination scores while the application will do the calculation determine the percentage and positions based on the percentages. the application also grade the score based on a predefined scale.Class teachers can select comments for students from the lists of comments generated or can type a specific comment for students. The principal or head teacher's comments are also automated.This reduces the stress of headteacher writing comments for hundreds of students in the school. At the click of the button, the signature of teachers and headteacher are uploaded in their profile which reflects in the report sheets of the students.This take away the burden of teachers and headteachers signing the paper result for each students. with the quiz module, teachers can set computer based testing examination for the students and students attempt the examination at the specified time and date with immediate display or result. It eliminates the rigor of marking objectives examination for students and also reduces errors in computation of results.

students can view results of their academic performance in the portal, they can change the password and username in the profile.They can also view the receipts of payments and a comprehensive ledger report for each student.This solves the current problem of inadequate records keeping and security of data. students can also view and print report cards and can also send to emails.It prevents the loss of paper report cards.

other stakeholder can be granted access based on roles assigned to them unlike the current situation whereby everyone can access the students files without any problem (lack of privacy)

with the notification module effective communication can take place via short messaging service(sms), email or application notification.Students and teachers can chat syschronously using the chat module of the application.

Parents can pay school fees or any other fees using our online payment module integrated with payment gateways in Nigeria such as paystack and such payment hit the account of the school and parents get receipt of payment from the application. Parents can view payment history and a ledger of payment from first day till the student leave the school is available. parents can also check students performance via the result module and can download and print result anytime.This reduces the stress of going to bank to pay and coming back to school for receipt and it also make payment reconciliation easier and faster for even if printed receipts are lost, it is always available in the portal forever. Parents can also be informed about happenings in the school via the platform. They can also chat with teachers and school administrator/headteacher.

with the presence of covid-19, it is very clear that there is need to re-define the teaching/learning activities in Nigeria. It affected  a lot of school and millions of students could not have access to education during this period. With this solution  teaching and learning can continue even at home. Teachers can prepare good lessons and supervisors can approve such lesson for students to view and download in any format of choice, read and learn. Teachers can evaluate performance and send results to students. Students and parents can view results of activities and communicate with the various stakeholders in school  

Before Covid-19,only three  schools  but  the number is increasing afterwards.  Currently the solution is deployed and used by some schools in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo state in  Nigeria  and it has improved teaching and learning  activities  in  the schools and impacted positively on school administration generally . The solution is designed after thorough interaction with the different stake holders in the education industry. it was observed that majority of applications being used currently by a number of school is deficient in one way or the other. Our solution factors in most deficiencies of other applications. For example most application are set up with the domain of the provider and only creating folders for school e.g safsms.com/schoool but we set up each school on its own domain e.g portal.vanguardacademy-ng.com. It allows schools to maintain their domain and all activities can still be counted for them and improves the visibility on the internet. We also simplified our solution such that it is very easy to navigate and highly responsive. In addition a mobile application is designed for each school and available on the googleplaystore for the stakeholders to use. We also develop the application combining a number of technologies due to programming versatility which gives us good control on customizing our solution to customers satisfaction.

Currently serving up to eight thousand users. in the coming year we hope to have three hundred thousand users and in five years over two million users should have be on board the application.

The major indicator is the number of schools that sign up to use the solution. we can also track each school usage of the solution. Each school usage comprises of both teachers and students.

He handles the backend development effectively and supported by Mr Biodun Ajayi and Mr George Evans with similar skill sets. Mr Sunday Anifowoshe is highly skilled in html and css and fit perfectly to lead the front end development. He is supported by Mr Abdullah Abass. Mr Ahmed Raheem handles the graphics design and development.

The solution can be modified to meet the education need of children and adults in the refugee camps. Videos, audios and other file formats can be per-recorded by teachers and such is embedded in the application. Children can then access such materials and download, they can listen or watch the videos as many times as possible for proper assimilation. the resource persons can also give assignment and assess students using the application.The mobile version shall also be made available. the solution can also be used online and offline.

with our solution we can modify to accommodate different trainings for women of various demography.the admin can assign roles to the different users on the platform.
