(ELM-KUSOMA) digital library Program
(ELM-KUSOMA) digital library Program is designed to promote education for all through accessing of distant learning.
The program will start with 15 primary schools in 5 regions of Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Singida, Kilimanjaro and Mwanza reaching 7000 pupils.
The program aims at putting in place the electronic reading and monitoring tool in the said regions.
Tanzania like other global societies is striving to utilize modern technology typifying the world today.
Contrary to the traditional monitoring techniques which need physical presence of the monitoring individual/team, the e-monitoring requires application of technology in distance as it is remotely applied.
Establishing new mechanism of monitoring of well-being of pupils by their parents in case of anything, easy to identify and immediate follow up.
If scaled appropriately, (ELM-KUSOMA) digital library Program could change the lives of youth with a viable blends online learning materials.

(ELM-KUSOMA) digital library Program is a personalized, blended online learning platform in Tanzania. Incorporating study materials for primary, secondary schools and colleges.
Learners will be provided with access browse study materials after signing in.
Through file study materials, videos tutorials and e-library students will be able to access the necessary online resources at their convenience.
This is a Ten Months program that learners involving 7000 pupils as direct beneficiaries of the program. Indirect beneficiaries will include anybody across the globe who will visit the link of the (ELM-KUSOMA) digital library Program

- Increase the engagement of learners in remote, hybrid, and physical environments, including strategies and tools for parental support, peer interaction, and guided independent work.
The problem, the solution and the target population all are inline with the goal of the program “Ensuring 15 primary school learners in Tanzania have access to quality education through online digital library”.
The target population is 7000 primary school pupils from the above mentioned 5 regions as direct beneficiaries of the program.
Indirect beneficiaries will include anybody across the globe who will visit the link of the (ELM-KUSOMA) digital library

In initial stage, INTAFEDHA presented their idea and was invited (Ref No: 291/355/01/13) on 11/1/2018 by the Principal Secretary, the President’s Office-Regional Administrative and Local Government in Dodoma to demonstrate its Programme to the ICT and education experts.
Then, INTAFEDHA was allowed to pilot its e-monitoring tool in Dar es Salaam schools through the letter submitted to the Regional Administrative Secretary dated 26/3/2018 with reference No. DC.98/507/01/49.
INTAFEDHA met with Dar es Salaam Regional Administrative Secretary (RAS) where the initiative was discussed. Then, the Regional Education Officer was involved.
Three public primary schools were identified for and the pilot implementated.

Learners have been given access to explore various lessons from different trainers and so they can choose the most effective lessons.
(ELM-KUSOMA) digital library Program is driving down the costs of education as it can cost the learner a small amount of funds compared to the traditional full time and campus study system.
