Split complicated sums into many small questions which will make the students understand the concept better
Many students don't understand how to solve some tough questions, it is the duty of the teacher to make into small subdivisions and ask the students to solve those important steps alone so that their foundation becomes strong. I have noticed many students go wrong as interchange the statement given in word problems and go completely wrong in it. To avoid this, make them create only the first step of the question and give the next step separately later and ask them to solve that step. By this, student will have lot of interest as solution for each sum gets over in just seconds. Also give the figure based questions so that they understand how to apply them. A student can excel in math if the student can learn basic steps, word translation based problems

- Personalized teaching, especially in disadvantaged communities
Usually we see long questions in all math exercises, but I would recommend to make small subdivisions of any questions and make the students solve those important steps which will make a better foundation for the students
This can be uploaded on a website and students can be access to it so that they can learn to solve questions.
