eWomen aims to change how freelancing business work by providing opportunities to the large pool of talented women UNTAPPED till date.

Women across the world have been fighting a constant internal battle, choosing between the welfare of their families and their independence. This battle results in vast majority of highly talented women discontinuing their professional aspirations. Present freelancing business has its own disadvantages as they only cater to freelancers ready to work & allows exploitation by most of the unverified clients. There is no effort made to engaged UNTAPPED resources.
eWomen aims to bridge this gap with a simple process –
- Generate a database of talented and untapped women workforce;
- Career counseling to understand the aspirations of women and challenges faced.
- Test their skills with the help of a leading UK-based online Certificate Agency;
- Rank them based on their test results, experience, education, background checks and eWomen portal feedback. This results in a genuine filtered database;
- Motivate women at lower ranks to upgrade their skills by providing relevant study material and support;
- Inspire women to rebuild their confidence with the help of online blogs, videos of world’s leading motivational speakers, etc. eWomen plans to have its own speakers in future;
- verify all clients companies and job posts.
In spite of high competency levels,vast majority of women population across the world is not working.
eWomen was launched on 8th March 2017 & have successfully registered 18000+ women across India till date. Aprox 90 Jobs were generated with 110 companies onboard.
We use technological advancement and connectivity to test, upgrade, motivate and connect them to the best companies globally.
Our vision is to make every women financially independent and be in charge/ control of her life even in adverse circumstaces. The percentage of employed women in India is currently at 27%. eWomen will increase this percentage and contribute to the GDP of the country, making women financially independent.
Women across the world are faced with the dilemma of choosing between their careers and maternal responsibilities. The lack of proper opportunities and financial freedom further adds to this. But they hold an urge to prove themselves and balance both the aspects of their lives. Most of the online and freelancing sites provide limited opportunities to UNTAPPED Women. Many companies cater only to with Women having regular jobs or Women working as freelancers.
There is, however, a 3rd category which is the untapped talent, accounting for big percentage of women. And eWomen intends to tap on all three categories.
Before launch, eWomen hired an external agency Digiagency for business research to understand the overall scope of the portal and acceptance with the target group. Evidence can be shared.
1st Observation
- 35% of educated Indian women quit jobs after marriage.
- 60% of the remaining women left jobs after 1st or 2nd child
- 30% of fresher failed to get placements
- WFH is considered as a fraudulent practice with no real opportunities
2nd Observation
- 40% of nonworking women have no aspiration to work.
- 30% are not skilled enough to work
- 20% women are averagely talented
- 10% are top talent not working anywhere
As highlighted by our research, an untapped pool of talented women will benefit from our initiative. They will be able to access opportunities by simply logging into our portal and exploring the various options before them. A dedicated Customer support team will be available to attend to any queries and encourage them to upgrade their skills.
Our expert HR and Sales team will ensure that everyone reaps the benefits of our solution.
The Sales team will verify the genuineness of a company while the HR team will help with proper allocation of the right workforce for online jobs.
