While using augmental: a teacher explains a topic, where each student will be given different content such as images, videos, text or exercises depending on their learning strengths, which has proven to improve their performance significantly.

Meanwhile, teachers  have access to a real-time dashboard showing who’s learning, who’s not and where help is needed. On top of that, teachers and administrators can benefit from our reports and analytics to better understand what is happening and in order to close all learning gaps

One of the greatest setbacks in today’s educational system is due to the one-size fits all approach to teaching and learning. While students are facing a big challenge understanding the course the same way as their classmates, educators have to adapt to different levels in class. The lack of visibility is also affecting educators and school administrations.

Augmental is an educational technology application initially targeting middle to high school students where course material is adapted to each student’s learning abilities using artificial intelligence and student engagement tools. 

Based on the student interaction with course materials the algorithm redirect each student in a unique path inside the course by giving the learner a tailored made content or question that matches his/her learning style and level.

At the core of the application is a powerful analytics module, which can be accessed by educators, administrators and parents. It is a one-stop shop insight into every student’s progress and knowledge acquired. By having this data in real-time, teachers can direct each student to complete the curriculum in a timely matter and more effectively than the traditional educational approach, while the parents and administrators are more confident that learning is being achieved.

On top of all that, Augmental’s is building the first marketplace for adaptive learning content and enriching it by collaboration with publishers as well as content creators such as educational video producers and qualified teachers.

Learners: 

The learning journey would become personalized for each students based on the learning strengths taking into consideration the level and type of resources. This would result a unique personalized path different from the current one size fits all approach. 

Educators:

We give the control back to the teacher through our realtime dashboard as well as our reports and analytics. This results a better one on one support for students. We also give control for educators over the content and lesson planning to deliver engaging and personalized lessons to all learners

Since day one, we worked closely with teachers and school administrators and students in order build a platform that can address the unique need of each stakeholder. We always learn from them through focus groups, surveys and direct feedback.

An equitable classroom is a classroom that can offer all learners without any exceptions with an equal chance to succeed. The only way to achieve an equitable classroom is to understand the diversity that is represented in a classroom and then to cater our methods and delivery based on it.

We recently launched our "Summary of achievement" report which is a revamped "Report card". We redesigned the traditional learner report card from ground up. Giving it a fresh new look, personalization and deep insights on each individual learners.

Currently our application serves around 6,000 learners

We are planing to increase this number to reach 20,000 in one year and over 300,000 student in 5 years.

We will be also focusing on performing large scale case studies that validates our model and make it available for lager number of learners.
