• Considering the current state of ill-preparedness of children coming out of school without the 3R’s of education that is the ability to Read, wRite and aRithmetic and the amount of out of school children in the sub-Sahara Africa and around the world.
• We are dedicated to provide a simple step by step guide to parents, educators, and guardians of children of preschool age 3-6, using NeoNat.eLearning platform created to give them the opportunity to participate, nurture and support their children to lay a solid foundation of learning that will play a crucial role in building important cognitive, social and emotional skills, which will help to set up the foundation of learning for a lifetime of educational success. It will give every child the opportunity to be able to read, write and do simple arithmetic that is the building block of future education.

• In sub-Sahara Africa and other developing nations across the globe, children face the greatest barriers to access quality education due to inequality, gender disparity, insecurity and poverty. These have been the hurdles preventing most children in almost all of age groups to have access to quality education. According to the UNESCO (UIS), of the 59 million out-of-school children of primary school age, more than one-half, which equates to 32million children lives in sub-Saharan Africa. In South Africa where I lived while the government has created policies that offer an equal opportunity, Children are coming out of school without solid foundation in the 3R’s of education. In Nigeria where I was born, it was classed as one of the countries in the world with the highest number of out of school children in the world.

  Hence, My experience as an educator has led me to understand that providing support to early learning and to strengthen the parent is critical to reducing the impact of social and physical inequality in the society. In support, we developed and create NeoNat.eLearning platform to provide easy access to parents to teach their child from the comfort of their home or anywhere around the world.

The solution we are proposing is an online learning platform, which offers to guide parents, guardians, and teachers through a step by step course outline that task daily activities and shows how to teach and support any child of preschool age. We focus on this age group because is the essential chapter of every human life to build a solid foundation of learning. The preschooler's guide is a series of 3 modalities designed for personalised learning. This platform can be accessed from personal PC, mobile phones, or tablets. The platform delivers learning in 5 subjects such as English Language, Mathematics, Art, general study, and later computer skills like coding for the elementary stage while literacy replaces English language and numeracy replace mathematics for the preschool-age child. The main course is divided into eleven modules each year.<>

Each module contains 4weeks of lesson activities with support videos to aid the lesson. Assessment sheets quarterly at the end of every third module.This included to gauge performance and help set goals for progress. Including exclusive support when needed with the added convenience of a learning experience tailored to the individual learners.

NeoNat.eLearning  strives to serve parents, guardians of children age 3 preschool stage and will later upgrade to grade 1 to 5, age 7 to 11 in elementary stage. We also accommodate even beginner teachers who are new to teaching, who needed direction on how to facilitate learning to these age groups. Apart from the problem of large numbers of out of school children in developing countries, the false hope that schooling is issuing parents is abysmal, too many of Africa’s children are not learning, although they are in school. Data shows that around 61 million African children will reach adolescence unable to read, write or perform basic numeracy tasks.(Brookings Center for Universal Education -CUE). Lacking these skills will undermine prospects for dynamic growth and prosperity. We dedicate to help level the ground of learning by reaching every parents whose child or children are in preschool or elementary age around the world equipping their children with the numeracy, literacy and wider skills that they need to realize their potential and also providing them the opportunity to support their children and give them a head start, working with what they potentially have i.e smart phone, pcs, or tablets. Which provides an easy access to universal basic learning for all. In conclusion, we believe that every child regardless of status, race, culture, gender or religion have the right to quality basic education.

In line with one of this year theme “Equitable classroom” that aligns to the challenges of lack of access to quality, safe, and equitable learning environments. So, our solution is by collaborating with parents whose children are of preschool age in order to support them with pedagogical know-how and online learning material in the 3R's and wider skills that they need to realize their potential. Since children's education is the cornerstone of future learning, this will lay a solid foundation for each child's learning and growth.Especially, those living in conflict and emergency situations.

We are in the Pivot stage of development, although at the beginning of the pandemic, we let some parents use the WhatsApp form of our online platform called BiliHub. Based on the experience we gained, we realised that we needed a website and used WhatsApp forms to encourage and communicate with parents.

This initiative is fundamental to support early childhood education, as most parents tend to take their children to creche to get them ready for former schooling while  the pandemic as demystify the place of work allowing people to work from home both parents, guardians and childhood educator will benefit in order to bring an effective results to the learner skill in the 3R, allowing for the insertion of skilled learner as they enter formal schooling. Proficient learners are a qualified asset of any country’s education. In addition to stimulating the development of learners, they can also easily transition to formal school education and become a powerful predictor of future success.

As our program is still in the pivoting stage we currently allow few families in our reign to see if we are actually solving a problem.we think in one year we should be known across South Africa and Nigeria respectively because these are the places the family we currently serve resides.We are currently serving 5-10 family, in one years time we should be looking towards around hundreds and by God wiling in five years we should be around thousand plus.

To measure the impact goal of our solution, which will show how learners proficiency has called up or improved.there will be a monthly proficiency assessment for the learner and will send a questionnaire to the parent to acknowledge their platform usability, what they observe in their children before and after using our solution.This includes communication to find out the challenges they still face and what suggestions they can provide to better help them achieve our collective goals.

We are 6 members team.A full time staff member, four part-time members and one volunteer contractor.

The full time staff is the lead actor. She was a former classroom teacher, a tutor, homeschool facilitator and an eduprenuer with over 15years of teaching experience in elementary studies.One of the part time member was also language teacher with over 10 years of experience in teaching French and Yoruba language, he went on to upgrade his skill in the area of computer literacy.The second was a chartered Accountant with over 5 years of experience. A logistic manager with over 7 years of experience and elementary level technical programmer and designer.

Our approach and commitment to diversity. equity and inclusivity is by promoting equal pay and professional development opportunity to make sure every team member have same opportunity for growth. We promote sense of team member not ranking to make sure everyone have the sense of belonging and make sure every member understand and communicate the goal of the team.Develop workplace ethics that foster respect,emphaty and honesty with integrity.

I apply to be a solver because the world needs more innovation to alleviate the challenges we face today, climate change, food shortages, search for clean energy and to improve education which I choose to participate in.With the challenges education faces today where can we begin from the early childhood phase because if the foundation is not strong enough to carry the building it will be prone to collapse.The challenge we hope to help us solve is in finance, legal knowledge and professional development guidance, which will serve as a bridge between awareness and knowledge.

As knowledge is power that enlightened the heart in other to see more clearly how the world looks and evolve. We will need as many opportunity as possible to seek the knowledge from every relevant areas that could support the success of our solution.

We would like to partner with organisation like Khan academy, MIT initiatives for mentorship and advise to help advance  and some other organisation that deals with early childhood education.

As a woman, a mother of four homeschool children who understand the value of education and have circrfized my time to see that my children get the best education anyone would love to grant their children.I understand the circumstance women and girls face in this world of inequalities and injustice. We believe that everyone deserves better fairness. Our solution is to allow parents, especially mothers’ women, to have the opportunity to participate and be involve in shaping and raising their children.It will be giving them the right of voice of how they wanted the world to look like. Since the percentage of people marginalise, unemployed and less empowered are women. This solution will empower women and girl as they train to acquire the knowhow to support their children to read and write so they are also learning and bracing their own basic education foundation too.
