SAWA WANAWAKE TANZANIA
Equity and quality education in Tanzania pose major challenges in Primary school and secondary school aged children-particularly from the poorest families.
Most classes in Tanzania are overclouded with around 100-120 children per class. The pupil-to-qualified-teacher ratio is 131:1 in public primary schools
An estimated 2,000,000 children between the ages of 7 and 13 years are out-of-school. Almost 70% of children aged 14–17 years are not enrolled in secondary education compared to 24:1 in private schools. (https://www.unicef.org/tanzani... )
SAWA Wanawake Tanzania and Faith Medical Tanzania Clinics have worked hard to improve quality and equitable education in Tanzania particularly at Mvomero district. Our organizations have managed to build 7 primary Schools, 6 elementary Schools and 4 girl’s hostel in Morogoro region and Kasanga Mufindi district.
Our organizations will continue to work with Tanzanian government to improve education through increase classes and installing computer Lab at Mtamba,Leena,Lusanga and Mvomero Secondary at Morogoro Region.
Problem : Un equitable education
Solution: Quality Equitable digital education for all
In 2007, Tanzania achieved nearly universal access to primary education. However, enrolment of primary school-aged children has been dropping. An estimated 2,000,000 children ages of 7 -13 years are out-of-school. Almost 70% of children aged 14–17 years are not enrolled in secondary education while a mere 3.2% are enrolled for the final two years of schooling.
Equity and quality pose major challenges. Primary school children from the poorest families are three times less likely to attend school than those from the wealthiest households. Furthermore, while it is estimated that 7.9% of Tanzanians are living with a disability, less than 1% of children in pre-primary, primary and secondary school have a disability.
Poor quality of education dampens children’s prospects of a productive future. .https://www.unicef.org/tanzani...
SAWA WANAWAKE TANZANIA AND FAITH MEDICAL TANZANIA CLINICS jointly addressed the problem of un equitable education in Tanzania particularly in Morogoro regional by building primary schools such as Leena ,Mtipule,Matale, Msongozi, Dibamba, Mela and Vianzi . Beside building the school we would like to add more tools such as computer lab, Teaching Aid and whiteboard sand to the classroom and more to provide quality and equitable education for all.
Equitable Classrooms

Collaboration with solver team and other donors such as Child Funds from Korea, Will help our organizations to accomplish the goals.
Equitable Classroom
target age group between 5-45 years of age
The group of 5-45 are currently undeserved particularly in rural areas because they lack quality and equitable education.
We visited the communities and we provided medical equipment and supplies in Matombo, Dutumi, Mtombozi, Tumaini health Center and Vijibweni also we build schools at Matale,Kisanga, Dibamba, Mtipule, Msongozi,Vianzi Mela,Doma Hostel and Melela,Kasanga Hostel in Mvomero and Mufindi District.
During the visitation we observed lack of knowledges among the people living in poor families compared to wealthier families. Wealthier families they choose what schools they want to go while poor people they have to depend on public schools which do not have quality and equitable classrooms, moreover they do not use technologies.
In order to improve the schools and communities at Morogoro, quality equitable classrooms has to be implemented to close the gap between poor and rich.
Equitable Education system will help children, youth, women, young adults, teachers and health professionals to develop their knowledge and skills needed to be engaged and become productive members of the society.
More importantly, it will creating multiple options for knowledge acquisition, sense making, product creation in addition to that, computer software application, google collaboration, drone, and more technologies will provide different kind of skills giving to all Morogoro people. In addition to this, as we develop the solution we have more than 50 Youth aged 14-24 engaged with solve Ed. Our Organizations and Solve ED will help the youth with software application and Equitable Education.

Solution
Implementation of quality equitable education for all
SAWA Wanawake Tanzania and Faith Medical Tanzania Clinics together have worked in different communities in rural and urban areas to improve quality health and education.
Our organizations would like to scale up by introducing quality and equitable education stating with schools we build in Morogoro. Our goal is to use technologies such as computer application skills to the students and youths in the communities.
The technology skills will improve their numerical understanding, good relationship, networking, communication ,Collaboration and good skills in entrepreneurship.
Quality equitable classrooms and technologies is the key to achieve higher standards of living for all. To increase the engagement of learners in remote and Urban areas the project will enhance networking between rural and Urban population.
- A new technology
Challenge: Equitable classroom.
Equity in the classroom means making sure every student has the resources and support they need to be successful.
Solution: Equitable Education for all.
Our organizations aimed to provide quality equitable education for all. To archive this objectives our organizations manage to secure funds from the above listed entrepreneurship networks for building primary schools such as Leena ,Mtipule,Matale, Msongozi, Dibamba, Mela and Vianzi (in Mvomero district Morogoro Region) in addition to that, we build 6 elementary schools such as Kisanga, Lusanga, Ndama, Matangani, Mtipule Njia Panda and Gwata (in Mvomero district Morogoro Region).Besides that we build domitories for girls such as Doma,Mela (In Mvomero distict in Morogoro Region ) and Kasanga Hostel at Mufindi Iringa.
Our solution is innovative because children and youth where unable to go to school due to long working distance and the threat of wild animals. Even other schools which were already built were in bad condition and had few classes so the student were unable to learn because there were more than one hundred in one classroom. Our Organizations helped to build school to close the gape of few school in a district.
Furthermore our organizations aimed to scale up the schools to provide quality equitable education for all students by using technologies such computers applications skills, google collaboration and more.
We expect to provide quality equitable education to student by mobilizing government officials, organization, Internet providers, Institution and Solver Team to provide tools needed for quality equitable education.

The solution is equitable Classroom for all would like all youth in Mvomero district, Morogoro rural area and urban area to learn how to use technologies for communication, networking, collaboration, web designing, craft designing and more. we will use the schools we built as a centers for learning and training.
Success comes with unity- SAWA WANAWAKE TANZANIA (SAWA) and FAITH MEDICAL TANZANIA together they accomplished to build primary schools such as Leena in Morogoro Urban ,Mtipule, Matale, Msongozi, Dibamba, Mela and Vianzi (in Mvomero district Morogoro Region) in addition to that, we build 6 elementary schools such as Kisanga, Lusanga, Ndama, Matangani, Mtipule Njia Panda and Gwata (in Mvomero district Morogoro Region).Besides that we build domitories for girls such as Doma,Mela (In Mvomero distict in Morogoro Region ) and Kasanga Hostel at Mufindi Iringa.
Moreover we received Medical equipment from mission outreach Springfield IL and we distributed in four government hospitals in rural area Morogoro and one government hospital in urban area Dar es salaam.
The indicator for our solution is the way we achieved to build the schools mentioned above and the distribution of medical equipment and supplies to the hospitals.
The progress we made is first to identify the problem. Next is to make an arrangement how we can solve the problem.
