Many tech platforms have emerged to bring virtual healthcare to patients in Latin America. However, the solution is not on the platform is on: 1. the healthcare professionals willing to take their expertise online and still feel engaged with the diagnosis process, make a profit and deliver results 2. The patient limited access to tech equipment, little understanding of platforms and not feeling comfortable online.
---We are building the new doctor-patient relationship with empathetic virtual medicine within basic technology in Latin America. No complex or expensive software and platforms is the norm!-
Rural patients in Latin-American are not close to hospitals nor to specialists clinic´s. We can prove 760 100% success cases of telemedicine for neurology patients in Valledupar, Colombia and 40 ICU patients treated over online tools maximizing collaboration between doctors no matter the age, with no special equipment nor platforms or expensive internet service treating patients from little towns that are at least 6 hours away from the main clinic and getting 100% patients positive feedback, coming back to the same virtual tool for follow ups and best of all improved health conditions and more patients attending their needed health checkup and controls.
The solution is based on education and a new doctor-patient relationship with empathetic virtual medicine within basic technology in Latin America. Now doctors can maximize their reach, they are Omni-Doc (Omnipresent Doctors) but what if we make this a professional marketplace with Omni-Pros like traditional Lawyers that can served rural and underserved communities or nurses, community engineers and more.
Delivering preventive and chronic healthcare to everyone is difficult, many underserved communities in Latin America can´t reach medical care because they can´t simply take a 6, 8,10 or more commute to the nearest hospital either because they can´t take a day off, don´t have the money or simply don´t want to. The pandemic made this clearer and deeper.
At the same time doctors in Latin America can´t see the potential of virtual medicine, many specialist we interviewed said they´d rather wait for the pandemic to go away... And yet this not a thing of pandemic this is a thing of ¨Health is needed everywhere¨ and we have not enough doctors, hospitals and resources to deliver the care everyone needs.
Many new businesses and tech platforms have emerged to solved this issue, and yes they are great! to connect and interact with patients if you have internet literacy but what if you don´t?
We have a proved method to deliver empathetic doctor-patient healthcare that delivers amazing results such as 100% patient satisfaction, patient control and diagnostics on time and accurate, 80% better diagnosis in the ICU thanks to doctors collaboration.
World economic forum says is the ¨knowledge era¨and making doctors omnipresent means they way the learn to interview and treat their patients have changed. This is a education driven solution to deliver more healthcare and enhance doctors 'life of service. This is a social and economic solution for Latin America.
Regular video WhatsApp calls with a detailed patient examination and doctor communication technique that guarantees 100% doctor-patient connection which is the ¨santo grial¨ of diagnostics.
Solutions:
1. Delivers quality preventive and chronic healthcare for patients using the technology they have access to in the most underserved and rural communities in Latin America.
2. Does not need special equipment or virtual literacy
3. A doctor-patient clinical evaluation that guarantees doctor-patient connection, empathy and clear communication during patient´ evaluation to deliver accurate diagnostics.
4. Extending the life of service of older doctors. They no longer have to go to the hospital ,walk long distances or expose themselves: they can deliver service within home.
5. Connect Millennials, Gen-X and baby Boomers doctors to learn from each other. Older doctors can collaborate to share expertise and learnings that can be applied in the virtual arena and younger professionals can learn and share with the older ones their understanding of technology and its use.
1. Rural and underserved communities in Latin America. Those that usually don´t go to the doctor because is along trip that is expensive for them, that means not working for at least half a day or that simply means more energy and planning
2. Everyone out of their home, like me as an immigrant that would be willing to pay for a medical explanation from a doctor I know. For clarity and explanation.
3. For elderly doctors that want to continue working but the commute, the long distances inside the hospital and the exposure to diseases makes them quit patient consultation even when they love it. This will make the more active and profitable longer.
4. For young healthcare providers who believe in technology as a catalyst of their knowledge but still don´t have proven framework to apply .
- Equip last-mile primary healthcare providers with the necessary tools and knowledge to detect disease outbreaks quickly and respond to them effectively.
The amount of patients needing special care due to their chronic disease grew three times in Valledupar. people not wanting to go to the hospital to void COVID. Then hospitals collapsed and chronic and preventive healthcare did too. We decided to use telemedicine as a solution and adjust to the patients´need and hospital compliance.
We served: Rural area sin Latin America, Valledupar and all nearby towns.
We have identify and develop need capabilities to deliver healthcare services now and in the future
We bring economic and social growth to our community to professionals and patients.
We propel health within the community inside and outside Valledupar
This is scalable to all Latin America like Perú, Bolivia, Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico. Is about a capability framework NOT only technology.
- Pilot: An organization deploying a tested product, service, or business model in at least one community.
We have already 760 cases with 100% quality results and 40 ICU cases that prove the viability of the framework and use of technology that can scale to many other communities in Colombia nd Latin America.
- A new business model or process that relies on technology to be successful

Tealadoc and ALL the telemedicine platform solutions that SOLVE nothing because either doctors are NOT interested and Patients can´t understand nor use the platform. Those tech solutions are great for digitally educated people with access to great wi-fi and laptops BUT if we want to served rural and underserved communities like a favela or a little town in the middle of nowhere in Colombia we need to WORK with what the patient have and understand and give the professional the skills and capabilities to deliver a great connection and empathetic doctor-patient experience and diagnosis.
