Drinking Water Supply System
Currently, in two zones (Arroz Barato and Henequén) in Cartagena de Indias; there are around 1,000 families who, because they are located in illegal lots, do not have infrastructure for access to drinking water, generating public health problems and everything that implies the lack of of this vital fluid. Designing and structuring a drinking water supply system that allows the collection, storage and supply of water to the inhabitants of the sector will improve the quality of life of more than 2,000 people, including children .
In this current situation of pandemic where hand washing and self-care is necessary to reduce the impact of COVID-19, the population is required to have access to drinking water in order to reduce the risk of contagion
On a daily basis, the more than 2,000 inhabitants of the sector are forced to buy water tanks or wait for a humanitarian soul to give them carts of water for their consumption and other domestic uses. This population is characterized by being at high risk, since they do not have the support of the state system, as they are located in illegal lots, but that does not mean that they require drinking water to survive and it is necessary to create a storage system for the subsequent distribution of it.

Design a deposit system that allows them to have permanent access to drinking water, which can be distributed by companies in the area or by the district itself, if there is a structure to store it.
The foregoing can, among other things, prevent the spread of COVID-19, through the adaptation for access to drinking water and generation of self-citizen awareness in the population.
The solution proposal goes beyond impacting on the self-citizen actions of the inhabitants of the sector at this critical moment of the COVID-19 pandemic, as it will also prevent dengue infections and especially access to vital liquid for quality of life
- Other
This project seeks to go beyond the felt need to generate installed capacity for self-care of a population in a socially vulnerable situation, without access to drinking water, many of them without access to health services. This is how this solution will aim to generate capacity for self-care, but also to avoid other types of dengue infections and even more so to have access to vital liquid for a dignified life
- Concept: An idea being explored for its feasibility to build a product, service, or business model based on that idea.
I consider that it is a concept, because the company seeks beyond a generation of businesses, to impact the surrounding population that needs it so much, at present our small company makes efforts to bring drinking water to supply the population, but more as a social impact of our organization that seeks to improve the quality of life of the most needy population of the city. And then it is necessary to design a system for the supply and endowment of drinking water to this community
