Our clean room quality Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR), it features 99.99999%+ filtration efficiency, and is designed to fight against air pollution and prevent infections by airborne pathogens (bacteria or virus), such as influenza, TB, SARS, MERS, SARS-Cov-2, pertussis, pollens…etc.
Our PAPR is 500,000+ times better filtration efficiency than N95, and 3,000 times better than other brands of PAPR. In this COVID-19 time, it can be used to save lives of the whole world.
Vaccines are used to block virus getting into our cells, and our PAPR is used to block virus from getting into our respiratory system. Vaccines could be ineffective for new variants, but our PAPR can filter them all.
Our 3rd generation PAPR features (1-0.9999999)^2 leakage rate. It is a personal clean room that can resolve all the problems - Safe Work, Safe School, and Safe Travel.

Our PAPR is used to protect users from attacks of any airborne virus or air pollutants.
- The mutating speeds of coronavirus and its variants are always outpacing development of vaccines. Vaccines will become ineffective because new variants are more difficult to be treated.
- The size of Coronavirus is 125nm, and can be taken as a particulate matter or a nanometer fine particle. We can use the highest grade of physical filter media, such as ULPA (MERV 20, 99.99999% @ MPPS 0.01um) to capture it. Current PAPRs in the market are using HEPA filter (MERV 17, 99.97% @ MPPS 0.3um) which is incapable to filter out virus and its variants.
People can wear our low-cost, clean room level, portable PAPR (with hood) and live as normal. It is a personal protective shield which block virus from your respiratory system and the whole body.
Bioterrorism attack is becoming so easy that terrorists can easily manufacture viruses, spread them on public outlets and create clustered infections, then quickly damage economics of your country. We need to stockpile portable “Personal Clean-Room” to prevent next pandemic.
Our PAPR can be used to protect any airborne pollutants. About 7M people die in air pollution every year.
Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR) is a personal protective equipment (PPE) that uses battery-powered fan to draw ambient air through high efficiency filter, purify it before breathing.
Normal adult breathes 0.7 liter each time, 12 times per minute, 0.7*12 = 8.4 liter per minute. By using laser particle counter, we can easily sample and detect at least one million particulate matters (or virus) in a 28.3 liters (or 1CFM) space within one minute. If nearby an infected patient for 4 minutes, 33.6 liters of contaminated air were exhaled from patient, then you are likely to be attacked by multi-million viral aerosols.
Take one million viruses for example,
Wearing N95 : 1M * (1-95%) = 50,000 viruses inhaled (fit-test before use)
Wearing other PAPRs : 1M * (1-99.97%) = 300 viruses inhaled
This is why so many HCWs were infected and died.
Testing station : Powered by high airflow fan, with a filter box (one ULPA filter) in between two laser particle counters, sampling time is 35 seconds, we can count 785K+ <0.3um particles on upstream and 4 on downstream, filtration efficiency is 99.99949%. Our 3rd generation PAPR will use two ULPA filters, to guarantee it can support almost 100% filtration efficiency.

Our solution helps people to fight against any attack of airborne pathogen (bacteria and virus) and air pollution. By wearing it, people can be completely protected and continue their safe work, safe travel and safe school.
Health care workers are the first priority of people we want to help. Every minute they are confronted with the most hazardous environments, and after every outbreak, many of them were infected and died.
When outbreak is out of control, HCWs will be burned out then quit, health care system will collapse, and patients will be left at hospitals and die.
Our solution can help people going back to work, without fear of jobless, without fear of eviction notice, school can be reopening, economics and normal life can be back.
Taiwan has been heavily attacked by COVID-19 in May 2021, daily infected number is going up to 600+. Picture was taken on one Costco shop at Taipei. I know wearing hood should be better but I only have half mask at hand. This PAPR completely protect myself from being infected.

Coronavirus has size of 125nm, and is one particulate matter (PM0.125). It is like dust, mist, fume, bioaerosol, they are all particulate matters with different sizes such as PM2.5, PM0.1...etc.
Our PAPR uses physical filter media to filter out particulate matters. One ULPA filter can support 99.99999% filtration efficiency with MPPS (Most Penetrating Particle Size) at 10nm.
HEPA filter only supports 99.97% with MPPS 0.3um.
Our 3rd generation PAPR will use two ULPA filters, it supports (1-0.9999999)^2 leakage rate, which is almost 100% filtration efficiency.
With this clean room quality respirator, it can save all people's lives in this world.

We produced 3,700 units first generation PAPR (Freeair) in 2015 and sold them in China. It supports 99.99999% filtration efficiency, with one ULPA filter and is bundled with half mask design.
We will go for 3rd generation PAPR using two ULPA filters to achieve exponential performance, that is 99.999999999999% filtration efficiency theoretically. It will be bundled with hood design.

- A new application of an existing technology
Doctors and politicians are talking about vaccines. Vaccines only provide limited protection, they could be ineffective once new variants are coming out.
We are using physical filter media to filter out virus and their variants. Coronavirus has size of 125nm, and can be completely filtered out as one of nanometer size particulate matter.
In NIOSH 42CFR84 PAPR standard, it requires at least 170 LPM airflow for hood design. Higher airflow will push particles or virus to penetrate through filter media and lower down its filtration efficiency. If using one filter, few virus aerosols still escape. Our revolutional design will use two ULPA filters, to assure almost 100% filtration efficiency is achieved.
Clean room technology has been widely implemented in semiconductor foundries or pharmacy factories, and we are leveraging the same technology to design a PAPR which is more compact and powerful to save people's lives.
Vaccines could have many side effects, such as blood clots, heart
vascular problem, but our PAPR is not an interventional device, it has no
side effect at all.

In product development stage, there are many steps such as EVT (Engineer Verification Task), DVT (Design Verification Task), PVT (Product Verification Task), Pilot run and mass production. We can use these product development stages to control our progress.
After debut, PAPR is a hardware PPE device. Each person who wears it can be protected from COVID-19 attack. The more people wearing it, the more lives are saved. We will be measuring our progress by people who are wearing our device and saved.

We can solve TB problem. Unfortunately, the fund is not much to purchase testing equipment such as TSI-8130A or laser particle counter and other mold. Though I choose this fund because we can help front line workers to prevent from TB infection, but the prize of this fund is not enough to kick off this project.
