One of the main problems of the last 2 years has been covid-19 although vaccines are already here, we can still do something to accelerate the process and that is how Vax-Fast was born, vax-fast has 2 main ideas, the first one is to prevent misinformation about covid-19 through reliable sources of news and the second one is to accelerate the vaccination process through effective surveys and the localization of vaccination centers, that why I proposed to create a mobile app where you can do all of this easily and interactively. This solution could help a lot of people to prevent covid-19 and to localize the vaccines and prevent misinformation, a lot of people from all around the world could benefit from this and could benefit to reduce

Covid-19 in 2021 has brought two major problems, the first one is that there is still a lot of misinformation and fake news according to a study done by the Wuhan University of Technology and the University of Chittagong where they conclude that "The study considered general misinformation be-lief, conspiracy belief, and credibility evaluations as a resilience strategy; and tested their effects on COVID-19 individual responses." Basically saying that misinformation it’s a big problem.

We can fight those problems in two ways, first giving access to covid 19 news from reliable sources and also giving the opportunity to the people to know their risk of having covid-19 and eventually the opportunity to know where is the vaccine how they can reserve it and where to go easily

The solution in simple terms is accelerating the covid-19 vaccination process while keeping everybody safe and aware, this through a mobile app both available for ios and android made with react native and a safe database with firebase, using these two technologies you can warranty the quality of it.

This app has 3 core functions.

The survey function where you can check how likely you are to develop or to have covid-19 by answering a daily survey

The vaccine map function where you can localize vaccination places how to go there and where to reserve it

The news function where you will be able to check the news related from covid-19 from reliable sources

The target population is everyone that has a cellphone which has augmented a lot during the last years according to an article from the Pew Research Center there is a rapidly growing in smartphone ownership getting into over 5 billion that own a cellphone and more than half own a smartphone, knowing that we can see that making an app is one of the best options an article also made by the Pew research center says that they grow of people using apps is growing exponentially.

This means there is a lot of people that could be impacted in a good way by having them informed and aware of their situation and with the possibility to know where they can be vaccinated

The misinformation problem is a really big problem and that is a problem that my app tackles in a lot of ways having information are a great power but having the correct information is way better.

Also, the app tries to reduce the covid-19 cases by giving people information about their possibilities of having it, and they also give the information of where they can reserve a vaccine and even how to get there the app solves the problem by giving all the correct information people need to fight the pandemic

This product is in the prototype phase because it's not exactly a product in the market but is available on the Vax-Fast website and is a working app, I categorized this app as a prototype because although it works correctly and it could help anyone who installed it, it is not on the big stores yet
