There is the issue of Digital divide, access to quality education and lack of entrepreneurship and employability skills among the students and youth in the surrounding community.
The students and youth will be able to access the numerous software and e-learning tools with blended learning solutions at their door step through a technology enabled mobile bus which will allow them to access the quality education and develop employability skills.
Empowering the underprivileged students and youth in the community with modern day technological skills which will enable them to become competitive in the emerging world.
In rural areas, about 60% of the population do not have access to technology hence they cannot access educational or employment opportunities which creates a digital divide and becomes a hindrance to their progress.
Lack of communication and isolation, Digital literacy and financial literacy, people in remote areas who do not have access to the Internet are disconnected. Barrier to studies and knowledge, Accentuates social differences and Gender discrimination etc.
HP World on Wheels (WoW) digital buses offer a unique mobility solution
to bridge the digital divide in rural areas. WoW is a 20-seater; IT-enabled bus
which is equipped with the latest computing and printing equipment as well as numerous software and e-learning tools. Designed using state-of-the-art
technology to reduce emissions and maximize energy efficiency, each bus is
powered by eleven high-efficiency solar panels and battery packs, generating
and storing enough power to sustain the lab’s daily energy requirement. It aims to promote e-learning for children, skills & entrepreneurship for youth and digital-based services for the community people. This initiative is to bridge the digital divide among the school-going children, youth and community and provide quality education.
The solution is going to help the students to continue their education
and help the youth to develop required employability skills. This will impact
the students to receive quality education and also learn computer skills such
as fundamentals of computer, coding and various other relevant digital courses which are going to help them build their career and change their lives. This will also impact the youth to develop the relevant employability skills and get a job which will support them to settle down and also help their families financially.

WoW digital bus offers a unique mobility solution to bridge the digital divide by providing 20-seater; IT-enabled bus with state-of-the-art. It aims to provide e-learning for children, skills & entrepreneurship for youth and digital-based services for the community people. This initiative is to bridge the digital divide among the school-going children, youth and community and provide quality education.

GMRVF has been serving the students and youth in the community in the selected location using various traditional as well as innovative methods to educate and develop required skills among community members but still there are many students and youth who are not able to get the benefits of the mainstream programmes, so this approach will serve the need of these people by providing access to the digital enabled and blended learning at their door step through a mobile bus which is equipped with state of the art technology such as having computers with learning contents and faculty to guide them, which makes this approach a unique and innovative.

The programme has a goal to impact about 1500 beneficiaries next year and reaching out to about 10,000 beneficiaries in next five years.
The system has an online MIS/Dashboard which are updated on daily basis about the activities carried out which captures the individual learning and their assessment results and shows on the dash board.

GMRVF has qualified and experienced social work professionals who are dedicated to provide support and serve the needy in the community through innovative and creative ideas.
Every employee in the GMRVF fold receives periodic training for personal and professional development and also need to interact with the various stakeholders at community level and are assigned the roles which are challenging. This approach allows the team to become diverse, equitable, and inclusive leadership position.
