Diapalema-Tech
The vulnerable population faces the system of marginalization and socio-economic inequality. This
inequality is also reflected in digital technology.
Diapalema-tech, advocates the
accessibility of digital tools to all inhabitants of rural areas A, who cannot afford a digital device to be able to connect to digital and benefit from socio-economic opportunities we help people to integrate and master the potential of digital tools (digital identity, use of the smartphone, internet, etc.) and optimize their use. We are partnering with different group associations across regions to provide them with modern, low-cost digital tools that would allow them to be included in the digital transformation. Our solution will facilitate access to digital tools, and our team will be able to set up quick training on the use of the Internet while negotiating with telephone operators for the extension of their networks in rural areas.
It should be noted that people in rural areas, particularly in Africa, have no access to digital tools and Internet services and that digital education is unknown to them. Globally, the African continent occupies by far the last place for the use of the Internet. With just 118,609,620 people connected for a population of 1,037,524,058, Africa has a penetration rate of 11.4% and accounts for only 5.7% of the number of users connected to the Internet.
We want to make handsets and mobile services more accessible and usable for people living in remote rural areas. This will include the coverage and connectivity of the mobile grid, electricity.
Improve
the
affordability of handsets or mobile phones and the costs of using them Ensure the availability of content, products and services that are relevant and tailored to the needs of these people Provide people with the knowledge and skills to access and use mobile services, as well as increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of mobile technology Address harassment, theft, fraud and safety concerns of people who wish to use mobile services.
We want to support the social, economic and digital links of people living in rural areas.
Include 4000 new people in digital and digital education each year.
Promote access to technological tools and rights enabling people to benefit from digital education Promote autonomy and the use of digital technology Bridging the generational digital divide in the face of digital tools.
