Scribers World™️
Problem
Technology. The Internet. Social Media. These are fundamental aspects of everyday life for youth and bring a myriad of positive and negative effects. Global Scribes Inc. Seeks to navigate youth through this new territory, ensuring that technology is applied to develop and empower youth. Combat digital social isolation, as well as, reach all those who are otherwise disconnected from education and social development opportunities.
Solution
Utilizing cutting-edge technology, as a progressive social network designed to empower and forge inclusivity, regardless of race, religion, gender, or location.
Scribers World™ is an online safe haven. Offering
all youth a virtual interconnected platform to engage in creative, entrepreneurial, and educational activities. Equipping Scribers from varying backgrounds
with digital literacy skills and opportunities to use Scribers World™ as a
springboard to engage and share their talents in real-time. Contributing to a more inclusive, resourceful life by using technology for a positive youth impact.
Solving the problem of social isolation, lack of inclusive international education, lack of supportive-expressive platform. In 2010 The Mental Health Foundation found loneliness to be a greater concern among young people than the elderly. 40% of 7.6 billion people are under the age of 25. Of 3.0 billion youth worldwide 84% acknowledge having dangerous feelings of social isolation. With current trends in global re-entrenchment and unprecedented levels, the future for our youth could be cataclysmic versus the success Scribers World™ offers, empowering youth with leadership and digital literacy skills whilst fostering digital inclusion.
Scribers World™️ is a ‘Creative Hub for Global Youth’ that engages stakeholders across the ecosystem of educational and professional development, using a digital youth-based platform. It is an EdTech platform that empowers our global youth and future leaders through intelligent connectivity, encouraging them to take charge of their own learning and create.
Scribers World™️ facilitates an interactive network of global peers, designing solutions to challenges that interest them while having fun; alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals to spark innovation, communication, and problem-solving across borders, by encouraging inclusive and sustainable actions at world scale.
Scribers World™️ is designed to enhance the lives of all youth, from all walks of life, regardless of their backgrounds and where they're based globally.
The current scribers who are currently benefiting from what Scribers World™️ hopes to scale; say, "We value friendship. We cherish meeting new people and making friends all over the world. We don’t see politics or religion, we see a person (Scriber - Altana Namsarayeva)."
Scribers focus on global journeys through the written word, visual arts, dynamic interaction, and consistent interplay across multiple virtual platforms–Fun, Education, Focused Passion, and Play Intertwined. Without these interactions and creative outlets, Scribers would be deprived of the opportunity to foster global friendships and increase the risk of social isolation for many of our youth.
GSYUN directly impacts the lives of the people who have helped us to achieve our goals–employees, students, youth, parents, interns, volunteers, teachers, schools, and communities across the globe.

3/ onboard through technology–making the process more efficient and faster.
In three years, we will serve 5,000,000 Scribers in 160 different countries. In five years, we are set to serve 8,000,000 youth–goaled for at least one youth in every country of the world.

It is a fundamental desire to provide all youth the possibility to connect and improve 'their' world. In 2015, our Founder, was asked by the Director of Zataari Camp in Jordan, if we would extend the age of GSYUN from 21 to 25 to encompass the refugee youth living in camps that suffered from an education/work gap between the ages of 18 - 25. No online university courses or support was being offered. Without hesitation her answer was 'yes.' We must give our global refugees hope. Open doors of possibility and allow their children to feel cared for, important, and gain important life skills while in transition. scribers World™️ being a cyber-secure, virtual space, with no politics, religion, or socio-demographic segregation of any kind, helps youth feel connected in a youth-led secure space created to support one another in striving to be their best selves.
The Prize will be used to ensure all youth are reached and supported through Scribers World

A study, commissioned by the European Parliament's Policy Department for Citizens' Rights and Constitutional Affairs suggests, factors, such as socio-economic and cultural; may prevent women and girls from having equal access to digital technology.
Many barriers to women's digital inclusion are traditional gender restrictions, which manifest themselves in laws or socio-cultural norms, poverty, lower educational opportunities for girls and restricted access to labour markets, as well as persistent gender stereotypes.
Our long-term goal is to develop Scribers WorldTM to empowering young women and girls through self-expression and optimal and digital community inclusion.
