Tech Education: Tech Evolution of the education system

To improve the inevitability of technology-education collaboration, the situation of Developing countries’s education system.

Around 58 million children are still out of the school. In Pakistan 23 million children still, not are going to school. The reason is poverty. Children can't go to schools because they earning for families but this is the era of technology, with rapid changes taking place across the globe. Technology is even changing the structure of the social institutions. One big change in the social institutions has been observed in the Education sector, where the internet has become an essential role-player in providing an inclusive and enhanced academic experience. We formed the team, registered the private limited company named 'Social Entrepreneurial Consultant Pvt Ltd' and plan to develop the education platform. The team consists of a passionate group of young people who have experience in the field of internet, software platform and online education. The team believes that improving the education is possible through the use of Web/Mobile-Based to the poor and disadvantaged children. Through this platform, disadvantage student can, enroll study and can give exam from their homes. The main activities are Students can enroll themselves to the portal with basic information of their names, city, ID, and location etc. From the basic grades, they can access the lectures. We have to conduct their monthly and weekly tests on this platform. We have to assign homework to them every day. At the end of every year, we will conduct the annual exam of them. If they passed it then we will promote them to next grade. If they will fail then we give one month to them and then we will conduct re-exam of them, it will be free of cost for the disadvantage, poor and orphan children. To improve the inevitability of technology-education collaboration, the situation of developing countries' education system and the extent of success of online education. 

Expected Impact: After completion of the pilot, the team Education plans to expand first across Pakistan, one locality at a time, and ultimately across South Asia. In Pakistan, of the about 23 million Children are still out of school, 149.2 million have mobile phones. In Pakistan alone, we expect to distribute the platform to about 23 million children in the next five years, and we hope to cover the entire South Asia in 10 years. To drive rapid expansion, adoption, and engagement on the Education platform, we plan to sign up for free. We are planning to locate our pilot at Capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, where about 85.7 is the highest education score and enrollment rate. About 16% children are still out of school in the capital of Pakistan because their families depend on child labor. The first phase of the pilot was set for Islamabad, Pakistan, which is the minimum time it takes for improve the 100% education and to enroll 100% into schools.

Well, It is all about a process and approach for solving the SDGs goal 1,4 and 5 with the help of existing technologies. We have to use information technology platforms and to build a website and an app. The main activities of this platform are to enroll the out of school disadvantage children of developing countries to the portal with basic information of their names, city, ID, and location etc. From the basic grades, they can access the lectures. We have to conduct their monthly and weekly tests on this platform. We have to assign homework to them every day.

It is about online education and we know without technology the virtual or online education is not possible. For this need internet, software platform and online education lectures from grade 1 to high school grades. Through Information technology platform and soft wares it will be integral and we will lead to the solution.

The portal is under development and will take few more months to complete functional work. After 6 months we have to launch it and the expected impact in next 12 months is to start it in the capital of Pakistan and surrounding and is to enroll 0.5 million out of school children to the online education system.

We have plan to approach private equity investors once we have completed the pilot phase of our work and are able to show some encouraging results. In five years, we expect to be enrolling about 1 million children in 4 states of Pakistan and in next 7 years grow and scale up in South Asian Countries and in next 10 years we have to cover the entire globe to achieve the 4th goal of SDGs.

To reach to the each beneficiaries is campaigns based. We have to launch the campaigns in those areas where we have to launch the platforms. The campaigns include on community based seminars, through social media, print media and through partnership with the governments and donors. Once we will reach to the out of school children then we have to first train them about the using of platform.

As mentioned our product is under development and not yet ready. Once we will launch it then we have to reach around 0.5 million children in the capital of Pakistan just in 1 year. 

Well, In next 12 months we have to enroll around 0.5 million out of school children in the capital of Pakistan. We have to enroll them through this platform just after the training about the platform. In next three years, we expect to be enrolling about 0.7 million children in 4 states of Pakistan. We have to plan to expand it in South Asia in next 5 to 7 years.

We register our company and formed the team to developed the education platform. The team consists of a passionate group of young people who have experience in the field of internet, software platform and online education.

The revenue model is from advertisements on the platform, online accessibility and from the government and non-government organization to partners for achieving the national goal and international goals. It is long term project. It will generate the revenue till the last child enrolling into the schools. 

Well, I am much interested to share my working experiences which I feel that would be very useful for everyone at the Solve.  Second, this is a golden chance for me to interact, learn about the the innovative approaches, modern research methods, communication and interpersonal skills during this program. I feel that this program shall be a good platform to learn about SDGs, project management and share the best practices that enable us to replicate at community level after return to our people and countries. 

Pakistan faces continuous political instability, in this situation we consider scaling up the platform across Pakistan and South Asia. In each region business regulations are changed, however with the partnership with Solve we can run legal, business, and regulatory frameworks in all regions.
