The target population whose I'm working to directly and meaningfully improve in my country Nigeria are approximately 167 millions young and old. In 2020, Nigeria had 99.05 million internet users. That simply means 60% population of Nigerians have no access to computers but with the help of computer operating skills education this figure is projected to grow to 131.7 million internet in 2023.
- Equip everyone, regardless of age, gender, education, location, or ability, with culturally relevant digital literacy skills to enable participation in the digital economy.
Lack of basic computer operating skills and and lack of internet transmission broadband connection in Nigeria serve as the major obstacles for access to digital economy by many Nigerians. However, provision of basic computer operating skills education will go along way of reforming a digital economy in Nigeria especially.
