I&E Classroom

I&E Classroom is a mobile solution that brings together all walks of life to innovate.

1.) The problem that my team would like to embrace solving is the ability to support educators an environment that fosters education and helps bring innovators together, from students to faculty.

2.) The solution my team is proposing is to develop a virtual community where faculty from around the world can share ideas about innovation as well as what has been successful in engaging the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs. In addition, my team plans to integrate design thinking at the core of the curriculum that faculty lead in teaching their students and helping students find problems that they are passionate about finding solutions for and then connecting students from around the world with similar passions to create diverse, well-thought solutions.

3.) Our solution will change the world because it will allow all walks of life to come together in creating a strong global community in which faculty can utilize as a resource for finding new ideas and ways to bring innovation and entrepreneurship into their classroom while helping students become connected with like-minded individuals with similar passions from around the world.

The proposed solution will utilize an existing technology (i.e., application software and web design) as the basis.

Technology is integral to our solution because we are creating a new virtual community where faculty and students from around the world can connect to learn from each other in building innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystems. The virtual community will be a place where I&E Classroom members from around the world can post their current projects and ask for feedback as well as connects other individuals interested in the endeavor. The latter thereby creates opportunity for the solutions to be created from diverse perspectives and cover more ground when finding a viable way to solve complex problems that the world faces.

The solution's goals over the next 12 months is to create a prototype and run a practice session with a variety of schools from around the world to see how the community would engage in real life.

Our goal is to develop strategic partnerships with Impact Investors that can use the community as a resource for finding areas where they can provide start-up capital. In addition, we hope that this solution will allow students from around the world to find their passions early on in life and devote energy to solving those passions.

Our solution will be deployed through both the internet and mobile applications where materials can be downloaded to help educators and students in having access to innovation and entrepreneurship materials.

At the moment there are zero people who have engaged in the community as our venture is still in the idea stage.

In the next 12 months, we hope to engage around 10,000 educators and students in the space. In three years, we hope to reach 100,000 educators and students. We expect the large amount of growth as there is currently a need in the market for educators to implement innovation and entrepreneurship into their curriculum. In addition, many students today are becoming more involved in the innovation and entrepreneurship space.

The skills that our team has is a strong work ethic, driven personalities, strong backgrounds in innovation and entrepreneurship, a global network, and international experiences that will allow us to connect with people from all walks of life.

For long-term sustainability, our objective is to develop key partnerships with organizations that focus on Impact Investing. The development of this community of educators and students who are driven by innovation and entrepreneurship will help Impact Investors have a central location where they can distribute seed capital to and ultimately help faculty and students pursue the problems that they are most passionate about while allowing for the innovation and entrepreneurial mindset to be spread to larger amounts of individuals.

We are applying to solve because we are a dedicated group of individuals who want to better society and help individuals from around the world be exposed to innovation and entrepreneurship. Solve can help advance our work through providing start-up capital as well as a strong network of Impact Investors for us to partner with.
