Babymigo connects expecting and nursing mothers to maternity and child care service providers in real time
In Nigeria, Over 300,000 babies die annually due to preventable causes.More than 60,000 mothers also lose their lives due to complications arising from childbirth. A Global report estimates by World Health Organization shows that over two-thirds of Newborns & mothers could have been saved through access to basic health care, support programmes and skilled medical personnels.
We're solving these problems in 2 unique ways
1)We provide an easy to use platforms where mothers to ask questions and get answers in 30 minutes via sms, mobile app or web portal
2) We connect expecting mothers and parents with babies between 0-6 years with vetted, certified experts and maternity services e.g (lactation consultants, sleep therapists, paediatricians, childhood development e.t.c ) for 1:1 sessions that take place in their homes or virtually.
We leverage on our proprietary network of 7200+ women’s and family health providers to deliver a 15-month maternal health program for working families
Our goal is to provide comprehensive support for mothers from pregnancy through baby’s first year and parents feel supported and cared for at vulnerable times

We provide women the kind of affordable but definitive support most lacking right now, in fields like fertility, pregnancy, postpartum care, and children’s health. Babymigo is proud to call itself the first digital clinic for women in Africa with a mission to bring better access to women’s healthcare.
Unlike other services, we don't leverage on mobile app and web portal alone. We also use omni channel like SMS, USSD, facebook free basics & bot to help improve access to our service irrespective of our user's location or social status.

Our vision is to help empower 50 million parents to raise a healthy family by 2020 .Although, our headquarter is presently in Lagos, Nigeria which is presently our largest market.We already have interest from Kenya, South Africa and Ghana. We believe 400 million mothers in Africa deserve access to inclusive support system to help make informed decisions during pregnancy and parenthood. This is a fundamental human right.

We take a 20% commission on every successful leads to connect mothers with maternity and child care providers on our platform while 80% goes to Service providers like Nannies, Paediatricians, Clinics e.t.c thereby providing extra income while we operate a suitainable business
We're solving a huge problem that needs urgent attention. We project to reach 1,000,000 mothers across Africa by December 2019. At this stage, we need mentors and support networks with experience in scaling technology and infrastructure seamlessly especially in the area of using Artificial Intelligence to personalise contents and matching of mothers service providers based on their persona and stage of pregnancy and parenting

Mothers receive staged based health care information, immunisation and antenatal care visit reminders via sms in their local langauge

When mothers ask questions, we use deep technology to match questions to experts and experienced mothers that has gone through the same situation. Users can earn points, report, upvote and downvote
