Operation Bit Search
For fearful refugees, invitations to inclusion into the digital economy seems like just as much a dangerous trick as it does a healthy threat. During war, searching for food, shelter, safe travels, and open digital access to markets can all be extremely dangerous. People have been known to trap mice with cheese. The unconscionable problem for refugees is a preconceived dangers associated with inclusion into digital markets.
The solution is Operation Bit Search - comprehensive digital market access.
In family law cases, one party can freely access the digital efiling market. Waging war against a foe. Even when the foe is elderly, has no computer, no physical ability, nor internet to efile and attend virtual court hearings. They lose extra by default during the pandemic. Land is taken away and abusers grow rich.
Help those in need. The most vulnerable and predisposed people no longer fight fear, but maximize relief.
The most extreme case of digital exclusion - refugees who may not even trust enough to have the unction to want to try. Locally, in family court cases, some people take their won lives because of the lack of digital inclusion. Many more feel social because they believe they are respected elders and should somehow be able to use a fitting computer, internet, and digital platforms to defend their family and property. In recent research of Missouri Family Circuit Court records, 80%, or nearly 5,000 innocent parents in those cases where unrepresented or underrepresented. UN reports show that globally, for the first time in history, 80 million people are forcibly displaced by war, and there's over 20 million refugees.
The Care-a-bit solution is just one part of comprehensive digital market access. Comprehensive digital market access includes three areas of inclusions for target markets. First, it's software freely available online or in app stores that facilitate donations. In essence, people with digital marketing places like Amazon or eBay can subscribe to donate to customers who have severe attritions to digital access. (Which, also has several benefits for donors). The second part is "Earn-a-bit." It's a freelance marketplace where local (to the underserved communities) where practitioners in the field where digital exchanges happen are paid from the donations raised to work with new users of digital exchanges. And third, it's group support at flash gatherings to mitigate the barriers of exclusion and shine a mobile light and those who have recently been included. These public spotlights can be shown brighter or softer depending on levels of fear, or shared consciousness as it relates to digital market access. This part of the comprehensive solution is also known as "Share-a-bit."
Like automobile manufacturers sponsor NASCAR vehicles to gain competitive advantages they learn during extreme conditions, this solution serves refugees of war, like the extreme circumstances in Syria, to have global impact. World Vision reports that about 6.6 million Syrians are refugees, and another 6.2 million people are displaced within Syria. Nearly 12 million people in Syrian need humanitarian assistance like healthcare access, hygiene, and connections with their loved ones. War severs traditional social and business ties. As common practice in high conflict family law versus law cases, our community practices digital access inclusions on the human side of efiling and virtual court screens. Which detracts from those battles of excelating chest-beatings, and to re-focuses people on life, nourishment, collective thought, and what's most important in life. Circumstances that are known to traumatize without out our comprehensive care. Changes in mental health, especially preconceived notions, are slow, but when the unrepresented refugees make it to area three, "Share-a-bit," they can't stay quite and desire to shout their new levels of inclusion. There new hope, safety, and skills they've attained. These are the stories we'll hear from refugees more and more who were previously excluded from the current digital market place.
- Equip everyone, regardless of age, gender, education, location, or ability, with culturally relevant digital literacy skills to enable participation in the digital economy.
Operation Bit Search is a technology-based solutions that ensure everyone has access to the digital economy. From Covid-19 to the refugees in Syria, the need has never been greater. With over half of Africa and 37 percent of rural America digitally excluded, Care-a-bit propels the most vulnerable people into an eco-system of care and areas of inclusion or assisted inclusion. Everyone, regardless of age, gender, education, location, or ability, can participate with digital literacy. If, by nothing else, shared community consciousness. Or, helping their friends get paid to assist. And, as a the opportunities parlay, paid practitioners can donate on behalf of donors to those they see in need. Knowledge, skills and abilities that will enable greater participation in the digital economy. Even if by happen stance.
- Growth: An organization with an established product, service, or business model rolled out in one or, ideally, several communities, which is poised for further growth.
Our venture of serving unrepresented and vulnerable people comprehensively on the digital inclusion side family law cases is well-known in Central Illinois. 100-200 people go to court everyday with the added feelings of inclusion, hope, and open access. Recently, we opened an office in St. Louis, Missouri to incubate the business. With a model that donates proceed to underserved community members, whom we already assist with digital attritions, our plan is currently for growth. Several projects are underway to help fill this need. Part of our business is selling books. A St. Louis television production company has given us airtime to promote one publication, while television News reports in Central Illinois often report on the struggles our peers face. Our technology part of building a membership website to link donors with practitioners is incubating. Market research has shown in the food and energy attrition spaces, such technology has accelerated investors.
- A new business model or process that relies on technology to be successful
In war-time eco-systems, battles and their inherent systemic exclusions are dangerous and scary. Operation Bit Search is comprehensively innovative because it redresses not only the outside systemic approach, but also the previously missing human side of the target market.

1-5 gig workers from Fiverr.com
20-50 community volunteers
Our team's background is in high conflict divorce research and mitigation, organizational strike research and mitigation, and military deployments to war research and family mitigation. We see the same digital exclusions refuges face as a lot of represented people face in terms of virtual court hearings, digital filings, etc. Only in our cases, like many scared refugees, people loose and are forced to absorb those losses simply because they are scared to access those digital venues.
In working with the community, Decatur Township Supervisor is an African American lady who helps us and provides increased community access. When partnering with St. Louis University programs, our group is half male, half female, half African America, and half Caucasian. Even so, including the best interest of children in highly conflicting circumstance has been our hallmarks of inclusion and access.
- Individual consumers or stakeholders (B2C)
Applying to challenges like this helps my team see a clearer picture of what we're trying to work for in changing the world. Although this is a new segment, gig workers have seen it improve their own performances by being a part of it. Working with this MIT-backed network in particular keeps me thinking about what your community is doing to solve their challenges. Which is inspiring to say the least.
If my solution is selected, then it needs the nine months of personalized support from this staff and network members to become effectively functional and to serve as many people in need as possible. It would also be great to connect with leaders in this space to learn how to build the partnerships needed to accelerate work like this, validate its impact and business model, and then scaling appropriate solution efficiently. Together, this will erase my company's financial barriers, employee barriers, and knowledge barriers.
Partnering with this network to learn how to share research assistance and fill field technician openings would ripple into the future of my business to reciprocate helping a lot of other needy people.
- Human Capital (e.g. sourcing talent, board development, etc.)
Research assistant support and field data collection technician is a big part of documenting the number of people served, the quality of services provided, and the shared consciousness of any successful usages success stories.
rescue.org already helps Syrian refugees in need, and I aim to partner with them. Of course, the MIT-backed network is my company's best asset and encourager. I'll partner with edX for continued learning.
Also, I'm open to try and discover more about potential research assistance and a research institution to help fill the budget piece for an open invitation to apply for a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant.
