LET'S GO DIGITAL AFRICA
Our initiative, let's Go Digital Africa tries to:
1- Bridge the gap of lack of digital entrepreneurship education in Nigeria and Africa with a special target on the Gender -youths and women folks for new skills and jobs empowerment towards poverty, hunger, and social injustices eradication in line with the UN SDGs and the 2030 Global Agenda
2- Our solution and approach is through an e-Learning- Working and Earning Digital entrepreneurship education Hub
3- Our solution and intervention is targeting at least TEN MILLION Africans for digital literacy, skills, and works from 2020 to 2025 to help a launching back from the Post Covid-19 social-economic global recovery.
Africa's poor education and illiteracy level has been attributed to the increase in Poverty, extreme hunger, and social injustices among the people. Today, despite the global advancement in Digital technology deployment, it is known that more than 70 -80 percent of the African population and communities are still without digital technologies awareness, knowledge, skills, connectivities, and digital entrepreneurship for the 21st-century learning-working and economic opportunities. And here our project LET'S GO DIGITAL AFRICA has come to bridge the gap by mobilizing and training all especially the gender folks to become digitally literate for the global opportunities through the digital revolution.
Thus, we are championing inclusive, affordable, accessible, skillful, and qualitative education for all using digital platforms and social medial channels which is unique and highly effective in solving the challenges of lack of skillful and entrepreneurial education in most poor African communities today.
We hope our project with a target of Ten Million beneficiaries in Africa from 2020 to 2025 could be scaled up globally to benefit more people across the world. Through this, the global digital gap could be narrowed.
LET'S GO DIGITAL AFRICA, is first an Advocacy, Campaigning, and training, and mentoring Hub targeting the gender folks-women and youths in the Niger Delta Region other parts of Nigeria and Africa. Through innovation in social media and digital channels and technologies as classrooms, we are mobilizing. training and empowering the African masses especially the gender folks starting from the Niger Delta region, Nigeria to other parts of Africa for a revolution in digital deployment.
Our unique training is 100 percent online and 100 percent offline towards a wider reach of beneficiaries. However, during the Covid-19 social distancing and lockdown, we have adopted a total 100 percent online system of training mentoring, and empowering the African masses on DIGITAL, GREEN, and SOCIAL Enterprises Innovation and Entrepreneurship through the digital technologies, knowledge, and skills without limitations.
Specifically, we are targeting the Gender folks of mostly the youths and women in Nigeria and Africa for e-Learning-working and earning Digital skills and empowerment. Our training and mentoring empower them as Digital, Green, and Social Enterprises Innovators and Entrepreneurs.
Most importantly, the underserved communities -rural/urban dwellers, schools, colleges, and universities through public and private partnership for digital entrepreneurship training and empowerment of students, youths, and women in Africa.
- Equip everyone, regardless of age, gender, education, location, or ability, with culturally relevant digital literacy skills to enable participation in the digital economy.
We are innovating, implementing, and deploying our innovations towards inclusive, accessible, affordable, skillful, and quality education/training and empowering the gender folks-youths and women for digital entrepreneurship education for e-learning-working and earning opportunities. This is especially so because of the high levels of illiteracy, unemployment, poor education, and poverty with injustices among the masses. These groups, apart from being digitally active, are mostly marginalized hence the increase in social injustices and high levels of poverty and hunger. Thus, our intervention in digital entrepreneurship is specially designed to bridge this gap with new knowledge, new skills, and new jobs.
- Growth: An organization with an established product, service, or business model rolled out in one or, ideally, several communities, which is poised for further growth.
So far, we have trained over 15 batches of 2500 participants from our online and offline activities from 2018 to date. An most especially, during the Covid-19 global lockdown, we innovated on 100 percent online training, mentoring, and empowering for more participants across the African continent on Digital Entrepreneurship skills thereby reaching out to over 1,000,000 participants and beneficiaries.
We deployed the use of social media and digital channels and technologies to reach out and deliver the services with efficiency and much impact.
