The problems that we're going to attend are insecurity and inefficency of public transportation. Those problems are affecting not just to users, but also to drivers and all the society who have to go to work, school and that stuff. 

The proposal it's about to implement technology on public transportation units. We´re going to put the specific route to drive in, panic button, GPS, security cameras and you will send your ubication in real time. 

This is will be done trough an aplication. It will help to security feeling for bouth, users and drivers, and if public transportatios works well, people won't need to look for buy a new vehicle, so polution and traffic is going to decrease. 

Lationamerica and a lot of countries on Asia, Africa and Middle East have very similar problems with their public transportation, traffic and pollution, so we can replicate the model on those countries.

Everyday in México do almost 130 million of travels, and 80% of those movements are made by public transportation. 90% of womans and mens get a insecurity feeling when they are traveling on public transportation. 

68% of the population use public transport service, what means that moren than 86 million of people use this service, and the mean time of travels takes more than 44 minutes. 

40% of people who travel on their own car they said that they won't use public transportation because of the inefficiency and poor quality of public transportation. 

In a survey that I made to drivers of public trnasportation, 10/10 are afraid about it's security, and they really want to use this service (The proposal). 

For users:

We're going to do an aplication where you will be able to look where It's a bus stop, where is the next bus to take, press the panic button in a dangerous occasion, report to the driver, qualify to service, give comments and suggestions and watch the routes and the bus stop on the reoutes.

For drivers:

You Will have the route on the app and you will be able to look where there are people waiting for you on bus stops, press the panic button, you can send your real ubication and check where you can do a bus stop.

The target are people who use the public transport as principal way to move into the cities, they have limited resources and they can't efford a vehicle or to take another method of transportation. 

They want more security and they even are fed up because of this situation. People are "Lyching" (Hit to the robber) and most of the time they hit them until they die. 

I'm a user of public transport and once I was a victim of insecurity, fortunately the robber wasn't arrive to me, but that experience opened my eyes to do something about it. 

I want that with this technology we do the next step and give more tranquility to users and drivers. If we do so, the econmy is going to rise up, not just in driver's lives, if not in all the society.

Nowadays drivers of public transportation are immersed on informal work, so they don't have legal benefits, nor retirement plan. They get resources as much as they work, so when they are not able to work anymore, they don't have quiality of live. 

If this proposal is implement, a lot of new legal works are going to be created, and it will help to people to have economic stability and life insurance. 

If people use more the public transportation, new infraestructure will need to be done, so more people can be hired. 

Even do I've tested with users and drivers, we don't have a prototype yet. But the next step is to program meeting with our key partners to develope the prototype and do the first pilot.

Nowadays we're developing the prototype to star with the pilot, almost 1,000 people are going to be serve whit the proposal. In a year 5% of people that use public trnasportation in México and in 5 years with almost 30% of population that use public transportation in México and 10% in other country,

We're going to use "Innovation metrics by Strategyzer" 

The metrics will be

- Desirability 

- Freasibility

- Viability

And we are going to do "pivoteos" to improve the service on our opportunity areas 

We are 10 elements in this team. We are students.

We did a pilot for students one year ago, and we got key partners to develope this proposal.

We are administrators, economists, counters, global business, marketers and engineers.

Work on team is the key for success, so we have a good relationship and good comunication. We are 5 mens and 5 womens. On this team the only important thing is to want a reallly change in México and specifically public transportation.  

Because I want to work as a team with a global organization like you are, so if we colaborate is going to be easier for me and for the project to be successful and the growing is going to be faster and bigger. 

I really want your help to help other people who is killed everyday by robbers and give a little of peace to that 90% of population who are afraid to use the public transport and to take actions to fight with the climate change and promote the public transportation to do so.

We need to talk with drivers and their syndicates to do this proposal, so we must need the help from goverment, so that can help us to do a better implementation. 

We want to get partner with the MIT faculty with experience in this theme to add more value and to be more efficient and also counteract the risks and mistakes.

I will use it to give incentive to drivers and users, like subsidies, beneffits and take action to afect the demand of the service, so that, we can arrive to new places and the impact will be bigger.
