We provide access to a equitable and accessable economic empowerment training program on empowering women through information technology (IT) and vocational training program as a means to economic empowerment to build financial opportunities, increase economic independence and create sustainable income.Women lack of access to economic empowerment has increased women’s vulnerability to domestic violence, rape, incest, abuse and murder.The greater empowerment of women will go a long way to strengthening the fight against dependency on husbands, fathers, partners and family members. The empowerment of women is one of the solutions to the problems of inequality, subordination and marginalization that women face in the society today.When women have economic empowerment, it is a way for others to see them as equal members of society.To bring about gender equality, reducing the excess mortality of girls and women, increasing women’s access to economic opportunity and giving women an equal voice in households and societies.
- Pilot: An organization deploying a tested product, service, or business model in at least one community.
Founded in 2018, Bedunamis & Dumansion Int is an organization fighting poverty and has supported in community building.The innovation has realised the following goals since inception;
1. Promote women’s economic empowerment.
3. Ending violence against women and girls.
5. Improve women’s skills for sustainability.
- A new application of an existing technology
This project is audacious because trust and accountability are embedded in every strategy. We acknowledge the inherent power dynamics between the innovation, and grassroots groups. As the home of Bedunamis Dumansion Int has been the recipient of well-funded programming that has supported innovative work and community building. We have heard testimony of instances when the grant for a community-wide initiative was not renewed, many members of the community experienced direct harm and became distrustful of future funding opportunities. Pain hinders progress. To collectively face this harm and heal in order to continue forward in authentic relationships based on reciprocated trust, as part of this grant we also propose an accountability and healing process between the foundation and the community.

At the moment,We currently serving 2310 women as our pilot project. we plan to keep enrollment between 1000-2500 beneficiaries to provide maximum quality during our developmental stages.
This evaluation will build off the success and learning from the Bedunamis Dumansion Int, evaluation processes. In the first year we will develop a logic model to identify quantitative and qualitative indicators to demonstrate successful advancement of our short-, intermediate-, and long-term outcomes for change at the individual, organizational, community, and systems levels for our theory of change over the ten-year grant period. The evaluation design will apply mixed methodologies to capture and share qualitative case studies of significant developments across the life of the grant. We also plan to co-create a publicly available dashboard to track indicators in real time, building off past efforts to share and interact with locally available, disaggregated data. Much of the content and specifics of the Patchwork Quilt project will be determined by stakeholders during future planning sessions. Multiple perspectives involving a representation of people who will benefit from our efforts must be at the table to weigh in on the evaluation process, including BIPOC and youth leaders. We also anticipate the need for our evaluation to be flexible and adaptable. We will likely employ performance monitoring to ensure the quality of our employees; process evaluation to map the strategy impact; and outcome evaluation to be sure that our model is regenerative (not only self-sustaining but pregnant with future positive impact).

Interpretation and translation services provide inclusion via language access with local Burmese, Latinx, Japanese, and Indian immigrants and refugees with varying English proficiency.

Solve's grant will provide us the resources that we need to adequately address the issue of digital equity and women economic empowerment.The basic reason behind our application to solve is to ask for their support in any passible means to aid us to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women as effective ways to combat poverty, hunger and disease and to stimulate development that is truly sustainable
- Financial (e.g. improving accounting practices, pitching to investors)
Resource shortfalls: Inability to secure sufficient resources for the project is a big risk and hinders project execution, cash is a vital resource for a not-for-profit organization. To maintain financial viability, the organization must have enough cash to pay its bills, execute its projects
We would like to partner with MIT faculty or initiatives, as well as Solve Members.

We take gender equality and women’s empowerment into account in economic diplomacy by, for example supporting equal opportunities for women in business and addressing constraints for women as investors, employers, workers and consumers. Listening to and working directly with women to ensure they receive the right information and services, when, where and how they need them.We are basically committed and aim to contribute to societal goals of a philanthropic, charitable nature by engaging in and supporting volunteering by providing basic needs to local communities on empowering girls and young women by providing internet access through information technology (IT) & vocational training program as a means to economic empowerment to build financial opportunities, increase economic independence and create sustainable income.
