Challenges for implementation of the digital economy- are low level of internet access, low technology adaptation by firms, lack of access to financing and weak IT skills. the cost of smartphones remains high, contributing to the low internet use – around 30% – among the population.
High-interest rates stand in the way of e-commerce expansion, while angel investment and venture capital funds are few and far between.
However UNACTA assessment acknowledges Tanzania has rolled out a series of e-government services, soon to be extended to its semi-autonomous region of Zanzibar.
The country’s economic growth has averaged 6% to 7% annually over the last decade. Increasing foreign investments also bodes well for its future.
UNCTAD’s assessment found a growing awareness of the benefits of new technologies among Tanzanians.
To advance the digital economy for all we will work together with internet providers, institutions, government officials to provide quality equitable affordable internet services, smartphones, and computers at low cost.

The digital economy uses new services which were impossible before, such as online shopping, home deliveries for grocery, to create online data which can give new insights.

Our organization will conducts short courses, Long courses , seminars , and conferences regarding computer skills applications to youth, women, and young adult to an amble digital economy technology to prosper.

The target population is 5-50 years of age, particularly children, youth, women, and young adults. This population is underserved because they cannot afford smartphones, computers and the internet services and they do not have anybody to help them
The majority of children, youth and women they have no access to a stable and consistent job that can help generate income, this can affect them in many ways such as the deprivation of access to communication in all forms.
For example, online banking was formed to allow customers to access their banking information easily without the need to be physically present in the bank. Instead, those without smartphones aren't given such easy access.

As we develop our solution we are working with solver Education team to engage more that 100 youth aged 14-24 in zoom in conferences which will be healed on June 17,July the 8th, 13 and July 21/2021. The conference will equip youth with knowledge ready.to improve their confidence and self esteem.

Tanzania is well-connected in terms of hard infrastructure, but the cost of smartphones, computers that includes access to the internet remains high, contributing to the low internet use – around 30% – among its population assessment from UNCTAD.
Bringing more investors, stakeholders, and other organizations to partnership with local organizations to develop digital economic technologies which will include providing quality equitable affordable smartphones, internet, and computers, thus will increase skilled workforce on the ground, access to high speed internet to the majority of Tanzanian, Economic growth, employment opportunities awareness, self eastern, and confidence.

In both urban and rural areas public access, like Wi-Fi access points, community centres, libraries, and other institutions, helps to connect everyone and expand users’ average data allowance, especially those who struggle to afford the cost of a reliable connection.

First we received Medical equipment from mission outreach springfied IL
We distributed the medical equipment in four government hospitals in rural area Morogoro and one government hospital in urban area Dar es salaam.
Also we partnership with Sawa wanawake Tanzania, to improve schools at Mvumero District.
In one years we will serve 1,000,000 -The solution we are planning to serve is different from first one.

Moreover we are focusing with digital economy for all our goal is to reach out to at least 45,000,000 of Tanzanian people to use internet services for daily activities.
Futhermore in order for Tanzanian people to adapt the technology, internet providers, stakeholders, institutions and Sawa organization we have to work together to provide quality equitable and affordable internet services for all.
In addition to that smartphone and computers is key for digital development it helps to receive information, send information do an internet banking, ect. Smartphones and computers has to be affordable to allow many people to use.
Beside the affordability of the service, computers and smartphones we need to identify the users of the services to connect with them, evaluate the progress and continue to connect more users through government officials and organizations.

In Tanzania internet users have increases. Acconding to the Citzen Magazine “Mobile internet subscribers in the country surpassed the 27-million mark at the end of September amid growing public dependency on the internet for executing day-to-day activities, particularly since the coronavirus pandemic outbreak.
The latest data from the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) showed that the number of mobile internet subscribers stood at 27,900,069 at the end of September this year from 26,832,089 users recorded at the end of the first quarter, in March.
That is an increase of over a million users (1,067,980) in the period of nine months, according to the quarterly communication statistics report by the regulator.”
Above statisistics of internet users in Tanzania indicates that digital economy for all is possible- Tanzanian people has shown interest of advacing to new technology. What is needed is to improve the availability, relibility, affodability and sustanability of the service for all.
Our goal is reach 75% of the population which is roughly above 45,000,000 by 2025. The sustanable developing goal is to reach 100% internet users by 2030.

The background of our team will help to improve and navigate an equitable classrooms for digital advancement technology.
Our experience to the communities we serve has helped us to understand exactly what is needed to develop digital economy for all.
Our plan is to work with internet providers, donors, stakeholders , development agencies and government officials to work on implementation of broadband in selected areas such as Dar es salaam. Dodoma, Iringa Njombe, Mtwara, Mbeya, Mwanza, Kilimanjaro, Morogoro, Pwani bukoba, kigoma, Shinyanga and Zanzibar. The plan will help to increase high speed internet connectivity in Tanzania.
Faith Medical Clinics has diversity working group with different backgrounds, different religion and different ethnic groups. For example I am from Njombe, others from Tanga, from Kilimanjaro, from Mwanza, Bukoba and Pwani.

If we received money from ASA Prize we will use the money to install internet and computers at 4 public schools from four districts. Mkulanga, Morogoro rural area Temeke and kigoma at Furaha Primary School (refugees camps)
More over we will partnership with internet providers, HP to provide computers and internet services to those 4 schools, Also internet providers will install computer to the computer Lab.
furthermore Internet providers will provide an IT person to train the students and manage the computers and computer Labs.

Faith Medical Tanzania Clinics with solver team we are qualified for the prize because we are going to work together to provide digital inclusion for all in Tanzania including refugees.
At Kigoma regional there three refugees Camp.
Furaha Primary School, in Nduta camp, Kigoma district hosts about 200 students, many of who are refugees.
Classrooms, Benches and blackboards are few so teachers have to improvise with whatever they can to hold lessons.
There are not enough chairs. Students are sitting on the ground.
If selected-we will provide a training Center for refugees in Furaha Primary School, In addition to that we will work with Internet providers to provide smartphones for refugees at low cost. The Prize from Andan will substitute the low cost of smartphones for refugees. Moreover will partnership with HP company to provide computers at the training Center Kigoma.
The training will include- software application, google collaboration, computer designing (cards for weeding etc) website, crafting and much more.
The money given from Andan Prize will provide refugees with digital skills and crafting therefore they will be able to obtain Jobs or self employed
The Prize from Andan will be part of our solution to provide quality equitable digital education and economy for all.
Refugees are still suffering we are planning to bring more stakeholders and donors to increase classrooms ,chairs computers and smartphones for the refugees.
