The Chicken Universe
There are several people in the world who sell chicken products but they don't have access to the market of customers that buy chicken products. Most of the problems faced by poultry farmers are connected to marketing issues and access to counsel and guidance.
The solution I am proposing is a one-stop platform for everyone who deals in chicken products. Both farmers and customers.
The solution would offer opportunities for business transactions and a community for interactions.
This way, a farmer doesn't feel isolated and can have an open market to sell his products. Also customers can be convinced of one platform as their convergence point when they want to deal on chicken products.
The problem we are aiming to solve is the gap between a seller of chicken products and his/her potential customers. We also want to close the gap between farmers. The reason why agriculture is seen as an uphill task is because most farmers exist in isolation. Those that exist in communities perform better and are able to manage their resources and produce more.
I have proposed an online platform (www.tcu.ng). It creates avenues for farmers to meet customers and also interact with other farmers.
The solution I propose serves small and medium scale farmers. These are the farmers that share a minute section of the market. Large scale farmers have more market share.
Our solution doesn't try to remove the large scale farmers but we aim to create an equal opportunity for everyone to be successful
- Scale safe and private digital identity and financial tools to allow people and small businesses to thrive in the digital economy.
This problem described has been here for quite a while but all small businesses could do was hope for sales and success in their ventures. However the internet has come to make things easier and cheaper for people of all cultures. Therefore the solution we are proposing which involves the use of an internet community would help to bring people together. Farmers are beginning to have access to the internet with the emergence of social media platforms so we are certain that if we can provide a convincing solution that would help them, they would become involved
- Prototype: A venture or organization building and testing its product, service, or business model.
We have released the application (www.tcu.ng) but haven't gotten the traction we want. People are still trying to understand what we are trying to offer. So we are currently observing user responses to look for better ways to structure the application
- A new business model or process that relies on technology to be successful
We are using the concept of social networking platforms to build a community for people who deal in chicken products. We are creating a generalised yet particular service for chicken products to be sold and for farmers to belong to
- Crowd Sourced Service / Social Networks
- Software and Mobile Applications

Currently: 1000 people
In 2025: 10,000 people
Number of users registered, number of producers registered and amount of engagement in the communities

We created a website that serves as the solution
Our plan is to grow incrementally and then get people for needed roles. These people should fit into the roles they are selected for.
- Individual consumers or stakeholders (B2C)
Our aim is to create a solution for people that deal with chicken products. Small and medium scale businesses don't have to struggle because they don't have great access to their customers. We want to create equal opportunity for them to succeed.
- Human Capital (e.g. sourcing talent, board development, etc.)
- Business model (e.g. product-market fit, strategy & development)
- Financial (e.g. improving accounting practices, pitching to investors)
- Legal or Regulatory Matters
- Public Relations (e.g. branding/marketing strategy, social and global media)
- Monitoring & Evaluation (e.g. collecting/using data, measuring impact)
- Product / Service Distribution (e.g. expanding client base)
- Technology (e.g. software or hardware, web development/design, data analysis, etc.)
we need all the highlighted sections above as we are just starting and to fulfill this plan, we need a great team.

It is often said that farmers don't have access to internet supply. However our platform would include education sessions to prove that the solution is relevant and provide help for anyone that doesn't have access
