Use of data accuracy and completeness to ensure accurate data analysis

Data collation is incomplete  as a rresult analysis of outbreaks are somewhat not optimal.Health seeking behaviour of the environment of ongoing outbreak is not considered as data sources and active surveillance are only tailored towards the goal health sector.The idea is to identify sources of data where people seek help institute a mechanic for data transmission and regular feedback and in addition health educate people on the need for proper medical care.

The specific problem.is ensuring a robust data source which can be easily transmitted from all players in the disease surveillance network.Analysis has shown that health seeking behaviour in developing countries  has the jnfo mal sector and therefore there is the need to identify these sources in order to analyse a complete data set to be able to break the chain of transmission of an ongoing outbreak as well as build statistical models to predict future outbreaks.Missing cases on the surveillance system are responsible for the effectiveness of existing surveillance systems.Part of the solution is to ensure availability of tools to obtain real time data and have clear channels of data transmission communicated to these sources of information

The target audience are health workers from privately runs facilities as well as other informal sources where people seek help.The idea is to sensitiE the various groups on identification of disease symptoms and the mechanism of reporting to the next level in order to interrupt ongoing out breaks.This also includes community representatives who would senstize their subjects on diseases and where to report.This is useful in underserved populations usually found in difficult to reach terrian

It would.kmprove knowledge of the general.public to enahnce case reporting eg covid 19.It helps in identification of cases for immediate action since real time data is being submitted for investigation and can help in identifying sources of infection spread in order to break the chain.

It would help I. Data completeness so that the right data sets are being analysed to guide the outbreak response at the end the outbreak is put under control,managed effectively  and therefore reducing morbidity and.mortality.

It helps in giving enough information to predict future disease outbreaks or emergencies

The informants are found amongst underserved communities and areas that have riverine terrain sometimes these areas do not have health facilities or personnel however with this information can be  sent to the next level where 

A measure of the response and an improvement in sources of health data  being submitted.Enhance case detection during and outbreak 

Success would be measured by comparing baseline data against present data submitted on a monthly basis.Compare case detection rates against case detection rate in the present month.Compare number of health facilities submitting data versus the baseline every 3 months

Financial is the first the issue of security concerns in riverine communities for security concerns In addition to culture where traditional insitutions would be assessed

In order to create awareness on data inaccuracy which is responsible for inability to predict outbreaks and quickly interrupt transmission during ongoing outbreaks.The need to put in place these solution to enable government buy in for sustainability of these solutions
