SMART RESEARCH FOR IMPROVING PAIN TREATMENT DURING PREGNANCY
Drugs, Medication Outcomes, Pregnancy and Pain variations, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, actionable insights
Firstly, the summary of this solution is to create:
- Cloud based Computer Analytics
- Deep learning
- Real-time situational awareness
- Trending, visualization
- Historical and real-time data flow
to trace what kind pains women and girls of reproductive ages encounter during pregnancy, the drugs and medications used to suppress these pains and their eventual outcomes in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Secondly, to gather a huge dataset of drugs and pain medications used as therapeutic methods to pains experienced during pregnancy and the corresponding outcomes.
Thirdly this solution will change the world and make a huge impact better than existing methods by giving actionable insights for local and International health Authorities, women and girls of reproductive ages in Lagos, Nigeria, Sub Saharan Africa and the African Continent.
- Effective and affordable healthcare services
- Supply chain strengthening of medications and medical supplies

This is a new application of an existing technology. For instance, using Mobile, Web Digital Technologies, to gather huge data for discovering patterns relating to pain medications used in pregnant women and children. In addition, this is a new method for
1. gathering large repository of pains experienced during pregnancy, in Lagos.
2. the types of drugs in circulation in Lagos as well as pain medications used to reduce these pains and their respective outcomes.
3. Produce huge actionable insights for local and International Scientific communities, Health Authorities in Lagos, Nigeria and African Continent by large.
Using Mobile/Web Technologies, I intend to use these platforms to touch hard to reach women/girls of reproductive ages in Lagos and beyond, discover hidden patterns and insights relating to the kind of pains experienced during pregnancy and the outcomes of the drugs to be made available to Hospital Authorities, women/girls of reproductive ages, the local and International scientific communities respectively.
1. Gather data relating to pains experienced during pregnancy.
2. Collect useful data on the kinds of drugs used by pregnant women and the possible outcomes in their fetus children.
3. Publish findings to Nigerian Hospital Authorities, Girls/Women of reproductive ages.
There is a general overview that by 2050 half of the World's youth will be African. Over the next five years, I hope to save millions of ignorant women/girls of reproductive ages who are constantly exposed to harmful pain medications to them and their fetus.
I also hope to publish findings in International journals for the benefit of local and International scientific communities.

This solution will be deployed via Web and Mobile Platforms as well as Quarterly Mobile Application updates. The target populations in Lagos will access it through an Android application that is currently in its final stages at the time of this writing.
Reach and Retention will be done via interactive user based analytics, mobile notifications as well as possible Internet relay chat (IRC).
Currently, over four thousand people are aware of this upcoming solution courtesy of Handsonlabs Software Academy Facebook page in anticipation of the mobile android and web application.
For the record, this solution made one of the finalist innovations for African Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIM's) Next Einstein Forum, Challenge to Innovation held in Kigali, Rwanda from 26th to 28th of March, 2018
Again, with an initial sample population size of 2400 of
reproductive women of the eight million in Lagos, will be targeted.
Thereafter data capture is refined, analytics performed and made,
decision tree and or ensemble predictive model algorithms will be
applied on the acquired data after twelve months.
In the next 3 years, the rest of the Nigerian population, Sub
Saharan Africa and Africa made up of over 54 women and girls of reproductive ages will be scaled next steps.
