MAGICAL WEAVES

A tech platform for MSME's to integrate micro and small enterprises run by women across India with the financial organisations like banks, non banking financial corporations along with retail chains.
We are building a platform to connect over a million women running their micro or small enterprises, banks, micro lending groups, retail chains globally.
Our platform would be built on tech using GIS and smart analytics. This will enable us to remove the language, knowledge and supply chain barriers. Enabling women is a priority in a country like India where the per capita income is very less in rural and semi urban areas.
Our platform would be able to connect over a million women to get access to finance through micro finance agencies, government initiatives and directly sell their products to retail chains and buyers across the globe without paying any brokerage.
We are specifically working to solve the MSME supply chain problem across India as it is informally the largest employer in India after agriculture sector. This would enable millions of women to lead a life of dignity and lift thousands of families from the line of poverty by getting access to funding and market to showcase their skill.
My mother has been successfully running a handloom based MSME for past 17 years in a small town of Punch on India Pakistan border. She has trained over 800 women in all these years and has been a source of employment and inspiration to many. Being an engineer and entrepreneur i identified the problems across the MSME supply chain and if i'm able to scale this up, this will empower thousands of women across India and other underdeveloped economies.
Our solution will have an impact over a large low economy section. We have been women centric since the beginning of the project as my mother has been the prime source of inspiration. We have already started connecting with small groups of women working on handlooms and handicrafts in Jammu & Kashmir (India).
Rise in per capita income - Empowerment of women
Basic infrastructure improvement - Better Economic condition

- Rural
- Middle East and North Africa
- Civil engineering
- Consumer-facing software (mobile applications, cloud services)
- Digital systems (machine learning, control systems, big data)
- Imaging and sensor technology
- Something so new it doesn’t have a name
We are the first one to build an integrated supply chain for micro, small and medium enterprises. A lot of people are working on solving one or another problem faced by these MSME's but a complete solution would require an integrated solution approach. Our platform is working to connect all important stake holders of this supply chain and that too at zero cost for these micro and small empowering units.
Our technology will let these women to access the raw material, market for finished products and access to capital for purchasing raw material evn without having any prior knowledge of technology because a lot of women in rural India are uneducated and hence the technology has to be simple for them to understand and adopt.
We are using the rural self help groups in which one educated community member helps a group to understand and access our technology to solve their needs. Its totally affordable is it is and will always be free for these small working units.

We are being provided seed money by government of India to develop the technology solution which would ultimately benefit millions across the country as our target segment contributes over 10% to India's GDP.

Getting connected to solve will help us to find a better technology and approach to solve this problem which exists in a lot of low income nations across the globe. We are running this project in Jammu & Kashmir which is one of the most militarized and affected zones in the world. If we are able to solve the things here then we will be able to do it in any other part of the globe.
Government of Jammu & Kashmir
19000 micro and small women enterprises across Jammu & Kashmir
There are startups across India or globe working to solve one part of the entire supply chain.
