VSTELEHEATH DIGITAL PLATFORM GLOBAL DISEASE TRACKING AND RESPONSE

Short solution summary:

VSTELEHEALTH platform is initially designed to help health care facilities around the world practice care in normal and pandemic environments. We want to upgrade the VSTELEHEALTH platform to track diseases through a cloud-based algorithm and network of genomic centers around the world and especially in developing countries.

Dr, Kissaou Tchedre, PhD., MBA is the founder and CEO of Vitalstreams and its VSTELEHEALTH Platform. Has experience in commercial Medical Device development. Postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School.

Which Challenge Area does your solution most closely address?

Identify (Determine & limit the disease risk pool & spill over risk), such as: Genomic data to predict emerging risk, Early warning through ecological, behavioural & other data, Intervention/Incentives to reduce risk for emergency & spill over

What specific problem are you solving?

With the Covid19 pandemic, the whole world realized that there is a need for more coordinated disease monitoring systems to prevent pandemics. Unfortunately due to competition between countries and protectionism, countries do not share data. Protecting data around the world has been revealed to be disastrous to the whole world community. In addition, developing countries do not have systems and genomics platforms that allow them to quickly characterize any unusual disease they noticed in their countries. Developing countries should be able to report unusual diseases they are dealing with and ask for help from countries that have the expertise. That will prevent diseases from spreading. There is also a lack of coordination between genomics centers around the world. A platform that will allow the report of diseases from developing countries and enable developed countries to respond in a timely manner, will present pandemics around the world.

Who does your solution serve, and what needs of theirs does it address?

Our platform will help all healthcare and research centers around the world and will allow them to form a network, share data, and respond in a timely manner to emerging viral diseases around the world. The platform will allow countries that have the expertise to help countries that do not have the expertise through a database. Countries without expertise will be able to search through our platform database for solutions, data interpretation, solutions, and collaboration help for immediate response to unusual diseases they are facing.
