WellBrain- mobile addiction prevention & pain program
Easily deployable AI/ML/digital phenotyping driven mobile digital addiction prevention and chronic pain management platform
1) The opiate epidemic is a catastrophe. Many patients with pain started on opiates cycle into addiction. Chronic pain affects 1.5 billion worldwide. Opiates aren't working. The world wants a different solution. That solution is WellBrain.
2) Founded & led by 3 Harvard, Stanford, & Mayo clinic trained pain physicians along with a digital health gamification expert, WellBrain is a B2B2C digital health addiction prevention and chronic pain management platform that frontline providers can easily deploy to their patients using a smartphone app providing patients with a personalized assessment of mental health including risk of opiate abuse and then using artificial intelligence/machine learning and digital phenotyping to customize an array of evidenced based non opiate modalities to best manage pain and fight the opiate epidemic. We are live, post-MVP, and have demonstrated a reduction in ER visits, reduction in opioid Rxs, & improvement in pain
3) Our solution is a gamechanger as it will save lives from the opiate epidemic, help millions with chronic pain, and help prevent the opiate catastrophe from happening again.
- Effective and affordable healthcare services
Our integration of smart phone based digital phenotyping with AI and ML is a unique application of an existing technology in mobile health
We recently acquired a company called Mevoked that is focused on helping identify and manage patients with postpartum depression through smart phone based digital phenoytping. We plan on integrating this technology so that can we personalize care at the right time away from the medical office
Our cloud-based platform for the 1.75 billion people with smartphones allows for a rapidly scalable solution enabling the ability to deliver the right management at the right time outside of the physician's office through digital phenotyping and deliver an even more personalized and optimized solution over time using ML/AI
WellBrain has plans to roll out to 200 provider offices in 2018. With more data, we will be able to optimize the program deliver better care for each patient and have figured out how to best deploy our platform to providers and patients to optimize adherence
Expand to 200 provider offices in the United States
Execute trials with Kaiser for managing pain around knee surgery, MD Anderson for palliative care, and Columbia University for thoracic postsurgical pain
Deploy globally through MIT Solve to providers and patients abroad in need for free consistent with WellBrain's mission-driven approach in helping those in need
Integrate digital phenotyping into the product, add telecoaching, as well as optimize AI/ML engine to build a better product
Save 100 lives from opiate addiction
With a first mover advantage with acceptance into the marketplace, an innovative and patent protected product, and viral effects from scale, we can scale to become the largest digital addiction prevention & chronic pain program globally helping millions of lives of the 1.5 billion worldwide who experience chronic pain. Our platform can then likely scale to other chronic medical conditions that are underaddressed such as postpartum depression and a wide plethora of other diseases
We are expanding our sales team to focus on the United States providers and hospitals. We plan on working with NGO's and medical mission groups such as Doctors without Borders to deploy WellBrain for free abroad.
As long as a patient has a smartphone, they will be able to access our addiction prevention and chronic pain program.
