Pink of View
Innovative technology for risk assessment and early screening of breast cancer
Problem: 15% of women diagnosed with breast cancer have genetic/family backgrounds. They are aware of their elevated risk, and track changes continuously. Yet, 85% of woman diagnosed with breast cancer state “unidentifiable risk factors” as part of an extensive list of parameters.
Our Solution: The PINK OF VIEW™ AI powered system is primarily focused on women that do not have genetic or family history in the breast cancer field. The system can provide an initial risk assessment of breast cancer based on questions filled anonymously through covering behavioral, environmental and biological aspects. PINK OF VIEW™ uniqueness is based on three main actions: i. calculating current exposure to risk factors based on common statistics and exiting practical experience; ii. evaluate future risk based on unique worldwide data learning iii. and a comparative analysis of various data input against initial baseline.
Our Impact: The number of women at high risk, following the risk-assessment questionnaire is enormous. A total of 1.7M new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed globally of which 60% are from low to middle income countries. Ideally, women at increased risk for breast cancer should be accurately identified so that appropriate prevention strategies can be offered, e.g. control of specific modifiable risk factors and effective integrated prevention of non-communicable diseases.
We aim to reduce both mortality and morbidity through the transformation of ‘disease management’ into ‘health management’. Supported by the health care system, individuals will be urged to take responsibility for their own health, control their risks and take necessary actions on time. Our low-cost system can be implemented in limited resource settings allowing our users to get access to unique data, monitor and evaluate population at risk, offer affordable prevention methods and referral to treatment more efficiently in an early stages of the diseases-thereby reduce costs of treatment.
Our system can support front-line health workers to create awareness about breast cancer and exposure to various risk factors, such as lack of sleep, diet, smoking and alcohol consumption. our protocol can be synced to existing data collection mechanisms of health systems in developing countries, such as family planing and other NCDs, thereby enhance referrals and coordination of care between health workers and higher levels of careand provide a more holistic approach for disease prevention and risk reduction was risk indication our platform.

PINK OF VIEW™ is making the early detection challenge affordable by adjusting medical tests to the individual's risk level. This way, we disrupt the market through delivering the next generation of personalized tools to provide medical services, especially in areas where there is a lack of infrastructures and specialists.
PINK OF VIEW™ uniqueness is based on three main actions; continuous monitoring of the individual to calculate current risk, evaluate future risk based on local and worldwide data learning, and a comparative analysis of various data input against initial baseline without infringing on individual’s personal data.
PINK OF VIEW™ automated detection technology is an
integral part of a comprehensive end-to-end ecosystem operated by the company
to provide medical services, based AI tools, especially in areas where there is
a lack of infrastructure and specialists including oncologists.
We are developing risk calculator and probability indicator based on research and statistical data on breast cancer. We are also collecting unique data to develop our beta version. Our target is to raise $ 500,000 by the end of the third quarter of 2018 and supplementary seed funding of a similar amount in the following year. The funding will be used for expansion of our data collection and partnerships in developing countries- we are currently in contact with several NGOs in India in the focusing on family planing and women's health.
Our main objective is to make PINK OF VIEW™ the global reference for assessing the personal risk and early identifying breast cancer, especially in developing countries where awareness and infrastructures for early detection of breast cancer is lacking. We expect to reach initial commercialization in the first quarter of 2019 in Israel/Africa but expanding internationally by 2020/2021.

Currently we are piloting our app in Israel and in SA for free in order to collect data and run initial analysis. So far a few dozens women have used our application. This is expected to increase during the coming months as we plan to initiate a large campaign targeting about 1000 women in Israel.
Based on our market analysis we aim to reach 500k women in total in our first year of roll out using different models, depending on healthcare system in each country and over 3 million women on our 3rd year.

We expect the basic trend to be in spirit of what we project given market potential and the relative low operating costs compared to high revenue growth, meaning EBITDA margins are expected to increase rapidly year-on-year. We expect to be EBITDA positive from first year given projected sales of final version. Current capital injections cover the burn rate. We expect to reach initial commercialisation in the first quarter of 2019 in Israel/Africa but expanding internationally by 2020/2021

Our biggest challenge currently in the lack of resources. We may also face privacy regulation challenges in some countries/regions.
We may benefit from Solve's network of regulatory experts that could support us to overcome data privacy issues in the future.
