Babymigo aims to provide easy access to health care, support services ,maternity and child care services to expectant mothers and young parents in emerging markets via SMS, Mobile App and Web platform
Our goal is to provide comprehensive support for mothers from pregnancy through baby’s first year and parents feel supported and cared for at vulnerable times. Babymigo provides a one stop platform for mothers to ask, chat and connect with vetted, certified experts (lactation consultants, sleep therapists, paediatricians, childhood development e.t.c ) for 1:1 sessions that take place in their homes or virtually.
For expecting mothers and young parents in Sub Saharan Africa, it’s a constant challenge to access basic health information, local and support maternity and childcare services when they need it most.
The main problem is lot of young mothers (average of 20) are becoming parents without access to health care due to distance or hyperlocal support systems and nothing has prepared them for the new experience which sometimes lead to maternal and infant mortalities.
