Beethoven: Bone conduction hearing device
1.Low-cost bone conduction hearing aid for people with hearing problems.
1. The main need we cover with this project is the hearing impairment suffered by some people. Usually to solve this problem resort to the use of hearing aids, but these focus on amplifying the sound and transmit it through the ear canal, in cases of more severe hearing loss these become obsolete, requiring a cochlear implant, which is performed by means of surgery.
2. Since the available prostheses in our environment focus on the stimulation of the middle ear, we created a device capable of stimulating the inner ear, this thanks to the use of sound transmission technology by bone conduction, which emits vibrations to the skull of the person, these vibrations reach the inner ear where the cochlea and the auditory nerve are located, where you are interpreting the vibrations as sound.
3.That people of limited resources have accessibility to a hearing aid device at a low cost, with the functionalities of a professional hearing equipment, our purpose is that our country be benefited with this technology and in the future reach other Latin American countries.
- Effective and affordable healthcare services
1. Bone conduction sound transmission technology is already being applied in countries in Europe or the United States, and our purpose is to use it and adapt it to our environment, so that people know and benefit from it.
1. Being an electronic device, the technology is applied since it captures the sound that the person perceives until the emission of the vibrations that are transmitted to the skull, in the same way the creation of pieces by 3D printing that are used as the case of the device.
1. Within that time we want to let you know society, that they can prove it and if it were possible to acquire it. Since it is currently in the prototype phase, we want to make that leap and proceed to manufacture a commercial device.
1. First, we want to make it known in our country, work together with institutions or organizations to help people. Our future plans are to expand to more Latin American countries, which like our country are developing.

1. Working together with institutions or organizations that seek to improve people. We also expect to distribute it individually to people who are interested in acquiring it.
1. One of the objectives in these twelve months would be to introduce it as therapy for children, many of whom need a cochlear implant, but due to the high cost of this it is not accessible to many people; see how they respond in their development and how they see the device, if necessary make some improvements if necessary.

1. We are all university students of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, we are committed to change our environment, to give a better life to people.
1. When realizing this device we realized that many of the solutions for this type of disability are not so accessible for many people, by offering a high quality hearing device at a low price we expect to have a high demand for them, we do not propose it as a substitute rather as a low-cost alternative.
1. We made this device as a project for our university, and in the time that we carried it out we gave ourselves an impact that it would have on people. Currently we are not established as a company, we want to have the opportunity to receive support and put this in motion, the road is long, but with help it would become easier to meet our goals and dreams we have.
1. Protect our idea before copying or reproduction. The commercial scope and how to position yourself in it.
