Eradicate Human Trafficking
To interrupt child and human trafficking we must give vulnerable populations and potential victims of human trafficking access to digital identity and financial inclusion to prevent them becoming victims. In survivorship many victims have lost their ability to bank and their identity has been usurped by the criminals trafficking them to finance criminal activities and fund terrorism. This Internet-scale digital trust combines cryptographic trust at the machine layer with human trust at the business, legal, and social layers. (Hyperledger Aries RFC 0289)
Our solution provides secure digital id, digital credential verification and secure electronic payments supporting multiple currencies (fiat and crypto), without sharing detailed accounts, digital wallets or personal data between sending and receiving parties. Our user focus are the sectors vulnerable to human trafficking and slave labor. Commercial scalability is to the banked and under/un-banked globally. Our solution bridges the gap between identity, privacy, safety and financial inclusion.
Modern slavery and human trafficking are complex problems. They arise out of the intersection between global economic structures and value chains, on the one hand, and vulnerabilities that exist at the individual, household, community and worksite level, on the other. People can no longer be treated as capital. Although slavery is illegal, there are currently an estimated 40.3 million people in modern slavery or victims of human trafficking. That is around 1 in every 185 people alive. There is growing evidence modern slavery leaves us all worse off. The profits are privatized, while the costs are socialized. Many victims have lost their ability to bank and their identity has been usurped by the criminals trafficking them to finance criminal activities and fund terrorism. Survivors often find that traffickers have hijacked their financial identity or banking products for money laundering or other criminal purposes, spoiling their creditworthiness and complicating financial reintegration. The options for victims to reengage into society are limited and often lead to victimization of tender souls. Modern slavery and human trafficking thus represent a tragic market failure. Our failure to effectively price-in the true social and economic costs of modern slavery leads to the inefficient allocation of capital.
Our solution includes providing financial services to the currently 1.7 billion people lack adequate access, to financial services, many of whom are vulnerable to modern slavery and human trafficking. Lack of access to financial services is intimately connected to today’s problems of modern slavery and human trafficking. Currently pilot programs are underway to interrupt the cycle of exploitation, by interrupting each phase of exploitation, we can prevent the vulnerable early in the cycle from becoming potential victims and entering the vicious cycle of slavery. Our solution intervenes at different points along the cycle to help restore and rebuild victims life while providing financial inclusion. And protect the survivors in their quest for deliverance by letting data become the overwhelming witness and evidence for law enforcement to prosecute the traffickers and avoid the re-victimization of survivors during the prosecution and court process.
- How can countries ensure that digital authentication mechanisms—which often require smartphones, computers and internet access—are accessible to marginalized and vulnerable populations to facilitate remote access to services and benefits?
Our solution first focus is on prevention and providing a successive path for those who may have no ID/credentials or electronic device to obtain identity and financial inclusion. Using a smart card to initiate financial inclusion or a smart phone to advance it they are now able to build trusted digital relationships. Should they be drawn back into servitude their identity and financial history is protected within the block chain allowing victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, and slavery to pick up their protected data and personal history where they left off.
- Pilot: An individual or organization deploying a tested product, service, or model in at least one location.
- A new business model or process
Secours technology is based on distributed ledger technology and cryptographic processes currently not used in public safety enabling trusted digital transactions. Our data science/AI technology platform connects three vital sources of information missing from public safety today. Digital identity, secure data and verified location. Secours integrates these three data sources vital to risk mitigation and saving lives, not only protecting you, but also your data. Our solution lowers emergency notification time, response time, investigation time, and time to find.
Additionally we provide financial payment solutions to bridge the gap between users with limited or no identity or financial accounts, to build a richer user profile with credentials and transaction history
Our solution is built on the Trust Over IP architecture for Internet-scale digital trust that combines both cryptographic trust at the machine layer and human trust at the business, legal, and social layers. Based on open source based on Hyperledger Aries RFC 0289, the link below is demonstrates how our work is currently be used to address the Covid-19 pandemic and enable communities and their business, to get back in business.
Our work has been piloted by the University of Waterloo for the dementia community and is currently in the ethics review stage. Liken our payment solution to a PayPal model however including secure digital identity, verified credentials and multiple payment methods including crypto.

This represents just one area of change our proposal addresses. Pimps and traffickers are actively recruiting, grooming, manipulating, breaking, exploiting, and controlling boys and girls across the world. Secours has identified gaps, vulnerabilities, and strategies to combat these traffickers. Our solution is positioned to interrupt each phase and to protect the vulnerable early in the cycle, intervene at different points along the cycle, and help restore and rebuild victims when they seek a new life. By intervening at none of these stages we provide the victim financial and safety options to escape servitude. Unfortunately many victims fall back into servitude for a variety of reasons.
Where our work will be significant is how we use the data trail as the witness to the trafficking crime, releasing the victim from having to testify and risk being re-victimized on the witness stand. Traffickers leave a lot of data behind them. If we establish an immutable data trail, we might increase the conviction rate of traffickers which now rests at only one percent of the traffickers are ever prosecuted.
In the US a unique dichotomy occurring. As an unintended consequence of the BLM and defund the police movement, police budgets are being slashed. Last week the CEO of Los Angeles County proposed defunding the LA County Sherriff’s office $145MM, of the departments that will be cut from this is the special victims unit which addresses human trafficking, LA is the number one city in the US for Human Trafficking, and finally according to Ohio State University, 77% of U.S. human trafficking victims are women/girls of color.
Needless to say our work is timely. Our non-politicized solution assists law enforcement, the court systems, and most importantly victims of these horrendous crimes.
Our solution already integrates digital identity, verified credentials based on global governance of the Trust Over IP Foundation and the Sovrin Foundation. Our solution can be interoperable with any digital wallet. For those who don't have smart phones we are integrating a smart card.

Pilot projects of 10 to 100 are currently being deployed. In one year we anticipate serving 250,000+ in five years we anticipate 50 - 100 million. Our solution can scale globally.
Our solution serves as a platform for other applications, services and devices to integrate our feature set into their existing business model. This provides global scalability. Think of us as the Intel Inside of Safety. Organizations and companies such as telecom can integrate our technology into their phones to deliver our solution.
Capital to fund growth. The anticipated global economic depression and the related Covid 19 pandemic present a dynamic and uncertain scenario.
The same economic forecast also fuels the increase in domestic violence, child violence which both are a gateway to human trafficking. Our solution delivers immediate solutions to the global financial community's call to action to address the economic and human devastation of slavery and trafficking.

Financial Sector Commission on Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking
"We must mobilize and act now. On the financial front, we must adopt a crisis footing: we must act before it is too late. We must use all our institutional power and leverage. Victims and survivors bear the costs of modern slavery and human trafficking. The resulting legacies of exploitation and exclusion leave both them and society worse off – economically, as well as socially. Fully implemented, this Blueprint has the power to unlock enormous potential: not just the potential of the financial sector, but, more importantly, the incredible potential of the millions of survivors and vulnerable people whose exploitation and exclusion locks them out of full participation in global society, the economy and finance."
Liechtenstein FAST Initiative Blueprint
In this exhaustive report the global financial community recognized its accountability to this issue. According to this report, 10,000 souls must be removed from the victim population daily to eradicate modern slavery by 2030. By September 16th over a half million people will be lost from this goal. The UK estimates the cost for each victim to the UK economy is $328,720 x 500K.
As such its confusing why this challenge to address 'global issues', which is backed by the World Bank, Gates Foundation etc. is offering only $150k in 'combined prizes"... given the scope of what your asking to achieve and the need to accelerate solutions.
- Product/service distribution
- Funding and revenue model
- Marketing, media, and exposure
Action takes capital, accelerated action requires more capital. The next step is deployment and distribution of services. In parallel comes awareness and messaging to create a paradigm shift in public perception of this issue and how the public can work together to change societies conviction to end this scourge. Given the current pandemic where many people are focused on simply surviving, creating a mind shift is society takes a concerted public relations strategy.
We have ready partners creating a new global standard and governance for self sovereign digital identity, verifiable credentials and guardianship ID. Our technology has integrated a Covid - 19 solution to keep communities safe and business operational.
We need the financial community to commit with financial action to act on the comprehensive FAST Initiative Blueprint.
We need contact to decision makers in the global financial community who appreciate the impact of the Liechtenstein FAST Initiative and want to directly support its recommendations with action and financial support to set each other up for success.
