UNIQUE NAMES FOR EVERY PERSON
- At birth, everyone should have a unique name. This name should depict gender, ethnicity, region of birth, year, month and date of birth. Just like car number plates.
- This can be a suffix after the desired random name or can be adopted as the normal main name.
- The unique name is captured in the government database just like birth certificate numbers.
- Since no one can forget their names, this unique name automatically becomes normal identity. You just have to give it and all your data in the government database can be accessed.
- When one attains 18/21 years, an adult photograph is attached to the name and this become s a mandatory requirement. Fingerprint can be attached at this time.
- Under normal circumstances the name will suffice for identity and fingerprints or pictures can only be used when need be.
- Since the name is unique, it replaces the manual ID cards.
This solution is trying to replace the use of manual identity cards. The unique name will depict every important information required to identify someone.
One will no longer need to physically present themselves for the ID card to be verified. You just mention your name and all your data can be accessed.
It will help maintain social distance while also enabling the marginalized communities from accessing key services without the need to have technological devices.
This solution can be replicated globally is successful.
This solution creates a level playing ground for everyone. It particularly helps the marginalized communities which do not have access to technological devices sometimes required before accessing key services.
Peoples identity should no longer be a secret just like names are not any secret. The idea is to make identity of every person accessible to the public while eradicating the stigma associated with revealing identity numbers.
This approach will ease access to services globally without regard to nationality or race. The world will therefore become a global village.
- How can countries ensure that digital authentication mechanisms—which often require smartphones, computers and internet access—are accessible to marginalized and vulnerable populations to facilitate remote access to services and benefits?
- The unique name is captured in the government database just like birth certificate numbers.
- Since no one can forget their names, this unique name automatically becomes normal identity.
- Identity of persons no longer becomes a private affair just like names.
- Idea: A plan or concept by an individual or organization.
- A new technology
The solution is unique and has never been used anywhere. It solves a global problem that comes with manual identification cards.
This is a new technology that is proposed for adoption

I am proposing the replacement of manual ID cards
The name used will be unique for every individual hence serving as an ID by itself.
This can be used globally over time.
The approach is to make people identities a normal thing just like names.
Once your unique name is keyed in the system, all your persona data can be accessed.
Since this is something that can be done remotely, one does not have to physically present themselves for identification as with the ID cards.
The use of imaging, voice and fingerprint technologies are well incorporated in this solution.
At minimum, every individual is assumed to know their names and at least the spelling of their names.
