UNPROM : UNUS PRO OMNIBUS
Our team is aiming to address the problem of difficulties in reaching the under-served people who lack access to the Internet and other necessary infrastructure to help them meet their needs through governmental and non-governmental welfare schemes.
Our solution is a multipurpose card, called UNPROM, which can be used for the purposes of providing necessary healthcare and financial services to the needy, especially people living in remote areas. Each individual card will have a unique 16 digit number, which will function as the ID number for its cardholder. The UNPROM will contain the following features:
1. User's health history
2. User's financial statements
3. User's geographical location
4. 2 step authenticated SOS system
Implementation of the UNPROM system globally will help in two main ways. First, it will help bring all the under-served people, mainly from remote areas, under one umbrella for a streamlined and efficient distribution/execution of welfare programs. Second, it will not only help the needy access important welfare programs, but will also give them an identity and a say in the political affairs that affect their respective regions.
Our team's problem statement is how to help government authorities and organizations to serve maximum number of people who are in need, in remote areas. As per current scenario many people in all countries cannot get the benefits of schemes launched by their government because of less awareness, remote areas, corruption, less connectivity etc, so UNPROM is the ultimate solution to all these problems. Government launches many schemes but it could not reach to the needy people because of corruption but by the help of UNPROM we can create Transparency in the system and minimize the corruption .This solution can be implemented at global level. This effort will surely changes many lives.
Our team is focusing on remote areas which lack connectivity and access to necessary services and infrastructure, namely education, financial institutions, and healthcare. These so called "isolated places" exist in almost every country in the world, such as Changlang, Lungthung, Dhupidhara in India. Our team will identify more of these isolated places to target and help them access important government schemes to meet their need.
UNPROM will bring the people in these isolated places together and help them access important services. This will not only help them get their healthcare and financial needs met, but will also integrate them in the wider populace. Bridging this gap between the government and the under-served will also politically enlighten the latter to voice their needs and desires to their local administration.
- How can countries ensure that everyone—especially vulnerable and marginalized groups—are able to apply/register for an ID in a way that protects people’s health, data, and the integrity of the ID system?
Our solution, UNPROM, aligns with the Challenge in two ways. First, it helps people in remote areas to access important governmental and non-governmental welfare schemes to meet their needs. Second, the UNPROM cards can be distributed to its target audience in a hygienic and socially distanced manner, necessary to stop the spread of the novel COVID-19 coronavirus.
- Idea: A plan or concept by an individual or organization.
- A new application of an existing technology
Our solution, UNPROM, is unique because it eliminates the need for different channels to access welfare programs for the needy. Instead of going through the bureaucratic mess of procuring necessary documents and cards for each individual service, a UNPROM cardholder can access all services, ranging from healthcare to financial services, through one channel. This streamlining not only helps to reduce implementation costs for the government, but also makes it convenient for both parties to partake in the equation.
My Team solution is a application of existing technology. Work procedure of the UNPROM is as follows:
1. If a person need any kind of government assistance like Natural Disaster, Pandemic, threat situation, medical imergency then the user have to just use UNPROM'S 2 step authentication SOS system by pressing switch 2 times 1 after the other in 15 sec time span. Than this message is passed to the department and then they direct nearby local authorities to act accordingly. UNPROM passes a signal using nearest Radio frequency
2. The UNPROM can be used as a health card also as it includes persons health history in any nearby hospital in case of medical emergency and if the user is applicable to any government health schemes than the hospital bill is compensated according to the persons financial status.
3. The most important feature of UNPROM is that it collects users geographical location so that only the people affected in such area can get direct benifits of government schemes. This also helps government to identify real affected people because by the help of UNPROM you can identify cards active in particular area.
4. This card is also used as a creadit card. For eg if there is a situation of any viral flu in a particular area than government allow this cards to be swiped at the particular stores for the particular items and the charges of such goods are Bourne by the government itself.

UNPROM MEANS ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE. IT IS A MULTIPURPOSE CARD USED FOR ANY KIND OF EMERGENCY SITUATION, NATURAL DISASTER, PANDEMIC SITUATION. THIS CARD IS BASICALLY MADE OF A MATERIAL WHICH CAN BE CHARGED BY THE HELP OF BIOTHERMAL ENERGY. IT HAS A 16 DIGIT UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER. THIS CARD CONTAINS FOLLOWING INFORMATION OF INDIVIDUAL
- HEALTH HISTORY
- FINANCIAL INFORMATION
- GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
The card will only display the 16 digit ID number, an SOS button for emergency situation, and an easy way to charge the card through a charging mechanism. Government and non-governmental organizations would use the card's registered information to directly deliver their services to the end user. This would make it very simple and easy to use for the cardholder. For the SOS feature, the user will have to press the button twice (with a few second gap) to signal an emergency.
