Oaks is an identity registration platform that allows people to apply and manage their individual ID using via the internet using a smartphone, computer and even making use of a USSD Code if they don't have access to internet facilities for rural areas.

Bank verification numbers i.e BVN can then be used to check and control duplicate entries

This solution can be used to create E-health systems, E-learning systems and Security issue facing the world. for various nations of the world

What specific problem are you solving?

One major problems facing developing and under developing nations of across the world and in Africa is lack of and proper sort of identity, this has however caused the failure of the government to reach a lot of people and distribute resources adequately.

This has caused so many people people to doubt the government capability to run an effective government and we can also see this in the way elections are conducted in Africa, most times we have more votes than people who actually voted, this is a result of lack of proper identity.

The Oak project is one out of many that will solve this problem. This project will allow people be able to register their identity with their smartphones, computer and even USSD to help people with out internet living in rural areas be able to participate in the ID program.

To prevent duplicate ID's, A yardstick such as the bank verification number of such an individual will be used to validate the identity so as to make sure that there are no duplicates whatsoever.

Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?

The target population would be here in my home country in Nigeria and they are people of all income and sphere of life both in rural and urban communities those with internet and non internet facilities will be able to participate in this program.

This solution would attach a social benefit such as a phone voucher or shopping credits to every person that agrees to submit his/data to us.

This would encourage more people to be willing to submit their data to the system.
