SteriBot
The autonomous cleaner that is a robot able to sterilize health institutions without the intervention of humans.
There is a lot of sanitary problems in Africain hospitals. Places are not that clean and a lot of diseases can appear because of the dirtiness of those places. The employees in africa are not doing their job as it is supposed to be and the materials thay are using are not sufficiant for sterelization.
It is a 30X40X15 cm device that can drive by itself in a room by avoiding obstacles using ultrasound sensors and image processing. It has a rotating sponge provided with detergent that is able to sterilize the surface it drives on.
This robot exists before and is used in houses and public places. But autonomous cleaners are big, take a lot of space and consume a lot of energy. They are only used for flat grounds. SteriBot (is the name of TRS’s product), is not that big so it does not consume a lot. It is able to adapt to any kind of grounds; it is an ALL Terrain device. And especially, it is cheaper than the others.

SteriBot is not that big so it does not consume a lot. We are currently developing the prototype to make it PV Energy sourced. in addition that it is able to adapt to any kind of grounds.
The autonomous cleaner is a robot able to clean public places by itself. The production is simple ; first it was about implement a code in the control board, then to assembly all the parts. We used a microchip, 3 ultrasound sensors, 4 wheels, 4 motors, a floorcloth, plexiglass, lead wires and a battery.
Having cleaner health places and less people catching desease because of the dirtiness and this will be our indicator to know if we could make a social impact.
Making 50% of Africain hospitals autonomously sterilized and cleaned.

First, we will start with social media and internet like making our own website, facebook page, Linked In and even our youtube channel. We think also about organizing seminars and inviting people that can be interested by the product. We will also attend tech-salons and entrepreneurship summits to make the company known.
If by attending 1000 people we could sell 25 products, this will be our first achievement. The robot will cost 487 TND. It will be sold at 799 TND. So 312 TND of profit margin will guarantee 7825 TND of profit for the first month if we can reach 1000 customers. With this price, people will even ask to buy it in order to use it in their homes.

Through Solve, I want to show that africa is a place to innovate too and that we are also able to change our destiny by ourselves and create better life conditions.
