REMAGINER

We started with the vision to create career training and job placement solutions that would bring unparalleled empowerment to the most vulnerable members of our communities.
Along the way, we realized that the greatest barrier to this mission was the lack of a centralized management system. We are building a platform that brings together career assessment, training, mentoring, job search/placement and more.
Everything that we are building as a foundation for our mission can be scaled to empower other businesses as well as the workforce development boards in creating new employment pathways.
Solving: The disconnect of resources and efforts.
Proposing: An all in one encompassing platform that leverages third party efforts and builds on top it in a structured format.
Impact at Scale: Becoming the marketplace of career efforts, which enables and guides users to plan and execute every stage of their career path by leveraging social and community efforts.
The desire to offer a solution that will empower people to fulfill their full potential is not unique and in fact there are many federal and private organizations working towards solving this challenge. The real barrier is the lack of a central system that can connect all these efforts to the right resources.
Our solution is a technology driven platform that connects to the multitude of resources available and allows users to take full advantage of them while creating some new job categories of our own.
A platform that connects and brings under one roof the many resources needed by job seekers, educators, hiring managers, and workforce boards.
As mentioned there is an abundance of resources and we plan to build a web/mobile application which utilizes APIs from existing third party platforms to build a full career growth cycle.
Our solution is encompassing enough that it is not limited to a particular job seeker profile. We have been conducting research and gathering information from a diverse group of people that are currently either looking to be employed or are seeking better career opportunities.
Choosing a career, reskilling, finding a job and making sure you always stay relevant to the job market are not easy tasks. Having a support system of guidance and encouragement can bring back hope and motivation to the many discouraged and displaced job seekers.
We value the work of all others involved in this mission and want to bring them tools which will allow them to amplify their impact.By connecting the workforce boards, educators and hiring managers to the job seekers and resources our hope is that together we can bring meaningful change.
- Match current and future employer and industry needs with education providers, workforce development programs, and diverse job seekers
We are not only creating our own solution that we believe will help bring us closer to our preferred future state of the workforce, but also trying to empower others like ourselves. Workforce boards are imperative to our nations success and we want to provide them with the right technologies to fulfill their vital role.

Our solution will be implemented simultaneously in all 50 US states. Because of the technological nature of this solution, we are not bound to any particular location. However, we are limiting our focus to US only before we expand any further.

Diversity: Our solution is not location based nor is it geared towards a particular sector of the population.
Equity: Job seekers will not be charged to use the platform.
Inclusion: We are structuring our platform so that it is built around the needs of the most vulnerable members of our nation.
- A new business model or process
Imagine a day that resumés are obsolete, when technology allows a hiring manager to feel they already know the candidate before meeting them, when job seekers gain new skills rest assured that they have a job approving of them and their skills before they invest their time, when educators are not only creating learning materials but also curating them to different learning abilities, when everyone regardless of their status has an agent that finds them the best career opportunities.
We are not looking to create a patch for the existing system, but rather utilize technology to take what is best about it, optimize it to its full potential and modernize it to embrace the future.
- Not registered as any organization
Note: We are in the process of registering within the category of hybrid of for-profit and nonprofit.
Both members of our leadership are experienced entrepreneurs and software engineers. We have a large network of other engineers, data scientists, educators and career coaches.
Our personal backgrounds as first generation immigrants, having been on both sides of the hiring process, having experienced career path changes and having gone through multiple programs of upskilling gives us a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in this sector.
- Individual consumers or stakeholders (B2C)
Our goal is to make this into something that can be used by all workforce boards across the country, and so we will need as much input from the workforce board as possible.
As software engineers we would like to focus our time on making sure we build a powerful solution that provides the best possible experience to all user groups. Winning this challenge will help us scale faster.
- Product/service distribution
- Funding and revenue model
- Board members or advisors
- Legal or regulatory matters
- Marketing, media, and exposure
We are looking for partnerships in the following order as we build and ship our product:
- Board Members or Advisors - workforce board and SME to advice on product
- Funding and revenue model - mostly needed for funding
- Legal or regulatory matters - for legal matters surrounding our revenue model
- Product/service distribution - to help us get employers and workforce boards on board with our offering
- Marketing, media, and exposure - name recognition and to bring job seekers to our platform
Libraries - we would like to partner with public libraries so that they can offer their career services over video calls to our candidates and also give them access to view the candidate resumés and cover letters on our platform and provide feedback.
Physicians & Dentists - we are starting our pilot training with a technology enabled medical and dental assistant program. We need workforce board advisors that will be able to advise us with job placements for our trainees.
Hiring Managers - to build future reskilling and education curriculum aligned with their needs.
