SYMTOPAD is an help application for medical diagnostics and disease surveillance

application of medical diagnostics aid for health professionals to overcome misdiagnosis and strengthen disease surveillance of health authorities in the country.
Misdiagnoses make millions of victims in Africa, as well as a slow disease surveillance system that takes weeks for health officials to learn about the epidemic situation in the country.

Our application makes it possible to compensate for these errors of the health professionals (doctors, nurses) by making the proportional repair of the selected symptoms of a patient by illness but also the application sending the statistics of the diagnoses to the health authorities

SYMPTOPAD is a new application for diagnostics, wWhen a doctor or nurse uses the SYMPTOPAD application during the diagnosis, as soon as he selects the symptoms of his patient, the application determines the proportional (%)distribution of the symptoms he selected by illness.
Similarly, the application allows the transmission of diagnostic statistics from health professionals in the country to the health authorities to allow daily surveillance of diseases in the country to react in time in case of outbreak of epidemics.

The application can work out internet connections. It has a local database of symptoms-diseases that alows to obtain a summary list of disease symptoms and applies the mathematical formula of proportional to the symptoms selected for each disease.
The application also has statistics of disgnostics and the system of alert of the health authorities to the professionals of health.

The application will be finalized and tested in health centers in Niger in the next 12 months followed by a license agreement with the Niger authorities.

My vision in the coming years, in 5 years we intend to market the application in all African countries. Already 6 months only after the realization of the prototype the application participated in 2 finals of the competitions in Africa and 2 finals of the national competitions

Our customers are health professionals, but the contracts are signed with the states for the purchase and the annual updates are the responsibility of the users.
When healthcare professionals in a country are equipped with this app, millions of lives will be saved from diagnostic errors and billions of dollars spent in bad diagnostics every year

Our application is a prototype in the test phase in the country in collaboration with the health authorities and we believe that after the test, 12,000 health workers will be equipped with this application

I believe that after the test, 12,000 health workers will be equipped with this application in Niger in 12 monts.

Our team is composed of 2 computer scientists and 3 doctors and 1 manager.

Our app will be sold at 10 US dollars with annual updates of 2 US dollars

I applied to solve because I think it will allow me to have financial partners and an investment for the launch. Solve can also help me for the visibility and international recognition of my work.

Our only barrier is the lack of information at the international level of our application and we think solve can help us to this for more visibility. Solve can also help me get the certification medical diagnostic device and facilitate the penetration of international markets.
